So I had a really amazing June and July wasn't too horrible..but I have like oh no shows booked for Aug. well I take that back..I have 2 catalog shows..anyway, I did the local fair today and sent out 75 postcards to my friends and customers to let them know that I was offering a 10% discount today if they shopped at the fair. I was there from 12-6 and only 1 person with a postcard stopped by and that was after I called her to tell her something else! So anyway, I had 3 orders..all under $10! My sales at the fair were $18!!! I can't even submit that..obviously! I had 13 contacts today..one was a kid, one was a woman who I think was a little mentally handicapped...and one was a girl who only wanted me to email her the recipe of the food I had made b/c she lived in another state! That leaves me with only 10 contacts after I spent the whole afternoon in a 95 degree buidling on my feet....I was really excited for this fair and now I feel like I've been incredibly let down..I don't even want to call these people tomorrow cuz I really just don't care right now..someone knock something into this girl right now PLEASE!?!

You know...any contact is a contact! Believe me right now my business is so slow I would take those 10 and run with it!
Sometimes to grow a business you have to have rough days before the bright days come! Just take this as one of the rough one, and know that a bright one is coming. Make those calls! One of those contacts my host a $1000 + show! You never know! Don't get down.....pick it up and run with it!!!!

Go Girl!! I would love to have 10 new people too!
