So of course I'm going to send 3 or 4 items. And look at that, they include recipes too! ;)

So, I figured the warm nutty caramel brownies and the peppermint fudge cookies since I have a recipe card for them...what else?

Apple Tarlets are great!

I was thinking of doing something for my kids school cakewalk at Halloween. How would you inculde the recipe card, wrap it up, etc.

What about a Barbie cake made with the batter bowl and the decorator set. One of my cluster mates brought it to our meeting last month and it was adorable and very easy. That would be a huge hit!

You could turn a Batter Bowl shaped cake into a jack-o-lantern.

Chocolate PB Cup Torte! Nobody will believe that you made it yourself until they read the recipe. :D

I have the bundt pan, does anyone know if you can make a pumpkin cake with the bundt pan?

Make sure you include your info with the recipe card...you never know. I made some things for the pie auction at our school last year, and included my business info along witht he recipe and I got a booking and a couple of sales.

You could also use your batter bowl to make a spider cake....someone told me about this(I am terrified of spiders LOL,but it is very "Halloweenish")
She said that the body was created with the batter bowl & the legs were made with licorish. Good Luck!!!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a cakewalk and how does it work?

A cakewalk is a fun fundraising activity often held at school events, where participants walk in a circle on numbered squares while music plays. When the music stops, a number is drawn, and the person standing on that number wins a cake or baked good. It's a great way to engage the community and raise funds for school needs.

How can I help with donations for the cakewalk?

You can help by donating baked goods, such as cakes, cupcakes, or cookies, for the cakewalk. Additionally, you can also contribute by volunteering your time to help set up the event or assist during the cakewalk itself. Every little bit helps!

What types of baked goods are most popular for donations?

Popular baked goods for cakewalk donations include cakes, cupcakes, brownies, cookies, and pies. It's best to choose items that are easy to transport and can be individually portioned or served. Homemade treats are often appreciated, but store-bought items are also welcome.

Is there a specific theme or guideline for the cakewalk donations?

While there may not be a strict theme, it's helpful to consider the preferences of the school community. Some events may have specific guidelines regarding allergens, so it's important to label all items clearly and avoid common allergens like nuts if possible. Checking with the event organizers for any specific requests is a good idea.

How will the donations be used to support the school?

The funds raised from the cakewalk will typically go towards various school needs, such as purchasing supplies, funding extracurricular activities, or supporting special projects. This event not only helps raise money but also fosters community spirit and involvement in the school.
