wadesgirl said:Yes your blade shouldn't seem dull. Some things take longer to chop than others but if it doesn't feel like it's working, get it replaced.
You might just be able to get the blade on the replacement part form - check it out.

If your blade seems dull, it could be due to regular wear and tear from frequent use. Over time, blades can lose their sharpness, which can affect their performance in chopping and blending ingredients for salsa.
You can tell if your blade is dull if it struggles to chop or blend ingredients, takes longer than usual to achieve the desired consistency, or if you notice uneven chopping. If you find yourself applying more pressure than normal, it may be time to sharpen or replace the blade.
If your blade is dull, you can try sharpening it using a knife sharpener designed for kitchen blades. If sharpening doesn't improve its performance, consider replacing the blade or the entire tool, depending on the product's warranty and your needs.
To maintain your blade and prevent dullness, avoid cutting hard or frozen items, clean the blade properly after each use, and store it in a protective manner. Regularly inspecting and sharpening the blade can also help extend its lifespan.
