AAAARRRRRGGGGGGGHHHH!

So here I am, minding my own business (my PC business, to be exact) when Microfots Windows XP decides to take a (core) dump.

Suddenly, the Blue Screen of DEATH appears, and my system reboots itself.

Microfots asks me to send a crash report so they can help me. (One of the three greatest lies in the world: The check is in the mail, I'll call you with my outside order and to book a show, and We're Microfots and we want to help you.)

Of course, the resulting message from the upload is a typical Microfots answer: 100% correct, but completely useless.

I can't be the only one.

When that happens to me, and it has A LOT, I do a restore to a previous date. It doesn't erase my files, but it will erase my new programs and whatever was causing the problem is gone.

I'd back EVERYTHING up first though!

This has happened to me multiple times and it's so frustrating! I wish there was a better solution to these constant crashes. It's ridiculous how often they occur and how little help we get from the company.Ugh, I feel your pain. Windows XP is a nightmare. I've had similar experiences with their "helpful" crash reports. It's like they just want to make us feel like we're doing something when in reality, we're just wasting our time.Have you tried switching to a different operating system? I know it can be a pain to switch everything over, but it might be worth it to avoid these constant crashes. I switched to Linux a few years ago and haven't looked back. No more blue screens of death for me!I also recommend looking into some troubleshooting tips online. Sometimes there are simple fixes for these crashes that we can do ourselves without relying on Microfots. It's worth a shot!Hang in there, fellow PC user. We'll get through this together. With or without Microfots' "help."
