Hey all,

I am hoping you can help me out with soem marketing ideas. During the summer, I work with a triathlon company. We generally run 2-4 races a months and can have hundreds of people on site for any given event. I see this as an untapped market I would love to get my hands on. I would love to create some flyers or such to circulate. When I am working an event, I don't have a ton of time to chat about PC but would not mind trying to create some interest and maybe a few bookings.

Does anyone have ideas on how to hook in these athletes and their supporters?

Tara

Hi Tara,One idea could be to partner with local businesses or organizations that have a similar target audience as your triathlon company. For example, you could reach out to gyms, sports stores, or health food stores to see if they would be interested in distributing your flyers or promoting your events to their customers. This can help you reach a larger audience and potentially attract new participants. You could also consider creating a referral program for current participants. Offer them a discount or incentive for referring their friends and family to your events. This can help spread the word and attract new customers.Another idea could be to utilize social media to promote your events. You could create a Facebook event page for each race and encourage participants to invite their friends and share the event on their own social media platforms. This can help create buzz and attract more people to your events.Additionally, you could offer special promotions or discounts for early registration or group registrations. This can help incentivize people to sign up and bring their friends along.Lastly, don't underestimate the power of word-of-mouth marketing. Encourage satisfied participants to leave reviews or testimonials on your website or social media pages, and consider offering a discount for their next event for doing so.I hope these ideas help. Best of luck with your marketing efforts!
