Is it worth doing a booth?
On festival is coming up that's 35 to rent a booth. Cheap I know. Anywho what do you take or do at a fair/festival??

Thanks ladies!

Fairs can be a good way to get leads. I bring either old catalogs or mini-catalogs for people to take home and keep a few current catalogs for people that might want to place an order right there. I also bring a few hosts packets with me.

For a raffle/drawing I either do a free show (I pay for ingredients & bring paper plates and silverware) or a homemade gift certificate that can only be redeemed through me.

Also if you have extra product you can bring it to sell as cash & carry. Booking benefit things work well for this too (things like mini-spatuala, mini-whipper, bamboo tongs).

Try not too bring too much stuff. I think most people recommend either everything that comes with the new consultant kit or one of each line - you don't want the table to be too crowded.

If you do a search in the files section you'll find all sorts of ideas including follow-up letters/phone scripts.

Fairs are a great way to get bookings or recurit leads... or just future customers for your business. I got 30 contacts in three days' time... not soley my booth. I booked one show, I have 16 people or more people who are interested in hosting a show or becoming a consultant... and I have a few people that wouild like the fall catlog when it comes out......
