I've noticed a lot of newbies lately and I just thought of something going through my calender...When you provide your hosts with outside order forms make sure that in 2 places on your order form you give guests the option to host. We have a great gal on our team that does an order form monthly on excel and I have 3 shows on my books for August that came from catalog shows, where I had no interaction with the guests.

Just a Good Tip!;)

Jenny,
could you post a copy of that so we could see it. I love the idea of bookings off catalog shows, I have yet to have a one!!
Thanks!!BTW not a newbie, always need help though ;)

Hey, Im not a newbie (not really) either but that's a great tip! Thanks!

Also, you can call all your catalogue show customers just as a follow up to be sure they have your info to conact for warranty purposes. They will be impressed at your customer service, and you never know where the conversation will lead!!

I always can learn something new here!

Thanks for the tip.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are outside order forms and how do they work in direct sales?

Outside order forms are tools used by consultants to collect orders from individuals who are not able to attend a party or event. These forms allow hosts to gather additional sales by reaching out to friends, family, and coworkers, thus maximizing the potential for bookings and sales beyond the party itself.

How can I encourage my hosts to use outside order forms?

Encourage your hosts by explaining the benefits of outside order forms, such as increasing their potential rewards and sales. Provide them with clear instructions on how to use the forms, share tips on how to promote them, and offer incentives for collecting outside orders, such as discounts or free products.

What strategies can I suggest to my hosts for promoting outside order forms?

Suggest that hosts share their outside order forms through social media, email, or text messages. They can also create a sense of urgency by setting a deadline for orders and offering special deals for those who order through the form. Additionally, encourage them to personally reach out to friends and family to explain the benefits of the products.

How can outside order forms impact my overall sales as a consultant?

Using outside order forms can significantly increase your overall sales by allowing you to tap into a larger customer base. When hosts successfully gather orders from outside their immediate network, it not only boosts their sales but also contributes to your sales as a consultant, leading to higher commissions and potential bonuses.

What should I include in the outside order form to make it effective?

Ensure the outside order form includes clear product descriptions, pricing, and any special offers. It should also have space for customer contact information, payment options, and a deadline for submitting orders. Including a personal note from the host can also make the form more inviting and encourage more orders.
