Looking for a replacement lid for Salad Spinner?

This is a long shot but does anyone have a lid for the Salad/Berry Spinner that may be left over from a broken salad bowl. I have a customer who told me the black knob won't push down to stop the spinning. I see that there is a replacement thumb knob - is that the black push knob and will that solve the problem? Didn't want to wait on hold for 30 minutes with HO to find out.
