Hi Everyone,

I have a show tonight and it's my host's birthday. Any ideas on what I should do special? Besides sing Happy Birthday:)!

I had one last Saturday. I usually give my hosts the SB cookbook so I gave her that plus the mini whipper.

What are you demoing? If you demo a cake (like the Turtle Fudge Skillet Cake), you can call it a b'day cake.

She doesn't like chocolate. We're making the Mom's Apple Crisp because she is interested in the APCS.

Forgot to mention. She is doing this show as an "open house" from 6:30 - 8:30 because many of the people she knows have a church meeting from 7-8. She wanted them to be able to come before or after. She could not re-schedule because she is taking on a new job and schooling.

flowers---Do a post call have everyone bring one single flower and present a personal bunch from everyone---

That is a great idea Morfia! I will have to remember that one.

The flowers is a great idea, but I don't have the phone numbers to call the guests. The cake is a good idea too Becky. I'll see if I can do it.

You can show them how to do the microwave cake in the mug...its quick, simple and cute.

Additionally, offer a birthday discount or a special gift for the host, such as a free product or a gift card, to make her feel appreciated.

How can I make the birthday host feel special during the party?

Start the party by acknowledging the host's birthday with a toast or a fun birthday song. You can also create a personalized birthday card signed by all the guests, or have everyone share a favorite memory or compliment about the host. This will create a warm and celebratory atmosphere.

Should I offer any special promotions for the birthday host?

Consider providing a discount on her order, a free product for hosting, or a bonus gift for reaching a certain sales goal during the party. This not only rewards her but also encourages sales and engagement from the guests.

Communicate with guests ahead of time about the birthday celebration and suggest that they consider bringing a small gift or card for the host. You can also create a fun gift registry for the host, where guests can choose from a list of her favorite Pampered Chef products, making it easier for them to select a thoughtful gift.
