Chances are if the owner of the dog takes the time and trouble to capture this photo the dog is probably very well taken care and cleaned often. I'm sure they keep the kitchen clean as well - I had a lab and the amount of hair I cleaned up from him was amazing so I can only imagine the extra work a retriever like this would require!

Here you go down that path again. :D

I think it is a great photo!

one year, my SIL that NO ONE in our family likes getting gifts from, gave my Mom a batch of mix for dog cookies! Same year, she gave my brother a small, naked tree with old bullets hanging from it....was supposed to be a "Cartridge in a Bare Tree"...................she seems to lack the family gene for fabulous gift giving (even those who have married in have it...EXCEPT her!)

Trust me, the Kitchen Guy is not sanitary.

As the "momma" to 3 dogs (2 Labs, 1 Sharpei), I LOVE this picture!!!

Rules for Non Pet Owners Who Visit and Complain About Our Pets:

1. The pets live here. You don't.

2. If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture. (That's why it's call "fur"niture.)

3. To you, our pets are just animals. To us, they are an adopted son/daughter who happens to be hairy, walks on all fours and doesn't speak clearly.

4. Dogs and cats are better than kids because:

---- they don't ask for money all the time

---- they are easier to train

---- they usually come when called

---- they don't hang out with drug-using friends

---- they don't need a gazillion dollars for a college education,

---- if they get pregnant, you can sell the children. :)

KG where in the world do you find these things? :) I can only imagine the random things you type into google...
