Hi -

I just got off the phone with Tech Support - the sync feature of P3 (new release) has a bug that will be addressed in the January release.

So, back to duplicate show entry :-(
 
Oh well. Thanks Susan for letting us know so we can be prepared and know that tech support knows as well.
 
Mine has never worked - so maybe this time around, when they do the fix, it will!
 
Hmm, I just did one! I set it up through the PWS/CC and synced and it showed up in PS fine. It is the first time I've done it this way around, but I havn't had trouble strating in P3 and going the other way either...

Make sure you've reviewed the orders on your website first. Then they will transfer.

Nope - they wouldn't. I did every update and fix, and it still didn't work.

The transfer of web orders still works, it's the address and show info sync that is down. Sorry I should have been more specific.
 
That's what I meant - I set up a new show on my web-site, did the sync and it's in P3!

Strange that mine works and yours doesn't...

That's great, Annabel! I have tried twice and failed which led to the call to HO.

Yeah - that's actually what I was talking about too.
 
One of mine synced perfectly and I was so excited...then the other two won't do it at all. Waiting until January isn't very long and now I've had a taste of how easy and convenient it will be!
 
I just entered TWO shows today into P3 and then sync'd it to my PWS and it worked just fine...
 
I figured out how to create a show on the PWS and then sync it to P3, but I don't know how to do it the other way around. The last time I created a show in P3 I looked all over, I think, and couldn't figure out how to sync it to the PWS. Just hitting the sync button didn't work.
 
There's a checkbox on the show summary screen in P3 that has to be checked in order to create it on PWS when you sync.

I rarely every set mine up on my website b/c my host never want it. I think I will figure this feature out each time and maybe if I do it enough people will actually use it. If it were not for the Outlet being on there I would cancel my PWS in a heart beat.
 
Even if your hosts don't want to use it, or even have e-mail etc., it still can be advertised on the invites that if they can't come, they can shop on your site and place orders. It really does help boost outside orders. I tell my hosts, that when talking to people they should let them know they can shop online through my site because even though they might not be into computers and online stuff, many other people are. Of course I word it better than that. :)
