Sorry in advance if this is a stupid question but is it possible to trace back internet "history" if somebody has cleared it? The reason I am wondering is that somebody is deleting internet history from my computer at work in my office. I'm just wondering what they would be looking at that they wouldn't want me to see;) I have made an effort in the past to check internet history to see if anybody is surfing the web when they shouldn't be.

In most cases, it is not possible to trace back internet history if somebody has cleared it. The only way you might be able to trace back the internet history is if the person was using a browser that stores its internet history in the cloud (e.g. Google Chrome) and you can access the cloud account they were using. However, this is unlikely to be the case.

Yes, it is possible to trace back internet history even if someone has cleared it. There are certain software programs and techniques that can be used to recover deleted internet history. However, it is also possible that the person deleting the history is using private browsing or incognito mode, which does not save internet history in the first place. This could be why you are not finding any evidence of internet usage. It is important to communicate with your colleagues and address any concerns or suspicions you may have. Deleting internet history can also be a security measure, so it is important to have a clear understanding of the reasons behind it.
