I thoguht about offering one and selling the stoneware for the regular price and letting the organization keep the difference. Anyone thought about or doing this? I know we talked about it with the cookbooks last year.

I know when we tried this last year, someone had had to call and get HO's "permission" about doing it....don't remember who that was, but I love the idea of it! I'll have to check back and see what ideas come out of this thread as I rarely have an original thought when it comes to this stuff!

I am interested in this very idea.

OK~no one else is biting here, so maybe the three of us can brainstorm here...

I have been wondering about doing this during November mostly because it could give the group a better return for their efforts. I found a Stoneware fundraiser order form that incorporates the pictures on the backside somewhere on here a while back. If we could use this and give the group the extra I think we would get great responses not to mention it is SAT month.

OK I called HO and Latisha (?spelling) told me that to offer the Stoneware at regular price is not allowed. She was saying since they offer 10%-15% of the sales to the organization that was enough. I still say we should do some type of fundraiser within the month of November, especially since Stoneware is the discounted product for the month.

The sheet with the order form I have in the above posting shows the prices with additional money added on to account for the tax and shipping. Each participant would be like a guest at a party and the host would be the fundraiser coordinator. We still could do it, but would have to change the prices around and what is offered.

Just a thought.

How about if you gathered the orders in October and actually put it through as a November Fundraiser? Also, how do you change pictures in Documents - the pictures on the ones posted show some discontinued items and the Stone with the Handles are not pictured.

Lisa~lemme get this straight....we would offer the Stoneware at regular price and then give the "discount" (the 20% off) to the organization????

It's against policy to change the dates of a show.

That's what people are suggesting, but HO has said that we cannot do that.

This same issue came up last year or the year before when cookbooks were on sale for $10. There was confusion about whether it was allowed within policy to charge the regular price and submit the orders on the sale price. Different people at HO gave different answers.

What we are not allowed to do is charge a price that's higher than the price that other customers receive for that product. Since the stoneware is 20% off for everyone, then we're overcharging the FR customers, even if we're charging them the regular catalog price.

Right. Tell your FR people that they'll get MORE orders because of the non-glazed stoneware sale and therefore more $$.

I think with having HO tell us it is wrong, then it is wrong......I won't run the risk of getting in trouble to do this, so I am off to book more shows!
