I have read tons of posts and I still can't find the right verbage for my invitations. I'm going to send the invitations through evite.com. I am a new consultant in my first 30 days and I want to host a show at my house for my family/friends. This is going to sound bad, but I want the specials so I can add to my kit. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Casey

why don't you post some ideas of what you want to say and we can help you tweak it.

I want people to know that it will be from 2-4. I will have everything ready when they get here. They can come in & out between those hours. I don't know what I am making yet, but I'm gonna make 3 or 4 items. I want them to be able to come to my house. See the products and I'll answer questions, and they can order. I don't want them to feel like they have to come and stay from 2-4. I will also be playing the PC Pool and they don't have to be present to win. They will pay there $2 per square and I will draw a number once the party is over and call the winner.

Based on my experience, as well as others here, you don't want to use the "open house" phrase. It's better for people to think that they need to RSVP and that there's a specific start/demo time. Otherwise, they won't let you know whether they're planning to come, and they probably won't come at all.

Ann is totally correct! Sell it more as a Holiday Extravaganza or customer appreciation show.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some effective ways to invite guests to my Pampered Chef event with Casey?

When inviting guests, be sure to personalize your invitations. Use a friendly tone and mention the benefits of attending, such as learning new cooking techniques or trying out Pampered Chef products. You can also include a fun theme or highlight any special promotions that will be available during the event.

Should I send digital invitations or physical ones?

Both digital and physical invitations can be effective, but digital invitations are often more convenient and allow for easy RSVP tracking. Consider using platforms like Evite or social media to reach a wider audience quickly. If you prefer physical invitations, make them colorful and engaging to capture attention.

How far in advance should I send out invitations for the event?

It's best to send out invitations at least 2-3 weeks in advance. This gives your guests ample time to clear their schedules and allows you to follow up with reminders as the event approaches. If you're hosting a larger event, consider sending a "save the date" notice even earlier.

What should I include in the invitation to make it appealing?

Include key details such as the date, time, location, and RSVP information. Highlight any exciting activities planned for the event, such as cooking demonstrations or giveaways. Adding a personal touch, like a note about why you’re excited to host, can also make the invitation more appealing.

How can I encourage guests to bring friends to the event?

Encourage guests to bring friends by mentioning it in your invitation and offering incentives, such as a small gift or discount for each friend they bring. You can also create a fun group atmosphere by promoting the idea of a cooking night out with friends, making it more inviting for them to join.
