Can bundling different products meet the needs of all customers?

A year or two ago, people were all ga-ga about creating these DCB bundles that included other products. Some discounted the bundle or gave free tax or shipping.

Well ... OK!

Except that not all of my customers can afford to spend $100. But most can spend $50 or $60.

So why not bundle other types of products that would meet their needs.

They could include:

The "I love to bake" bundle: Cookie sheet, scoop, stackable cooling rack, maybe a batter bowl.

The "I don't cook" or "College student" bundle: Micro cooker, smooth edge can opener, pizza cutter, can strainer.

The "I Lost My Pampered Chef in the Divorce" bundle: Contains a stone, a food chopper, a scraper and a candle they can light to remember the good times with the products they lost!

Can anybody help with details ... maybe illustrations?

I did bundles last year around graduation time - varying price ranges of bundles to get new graduates started. I'm sure I borrowed a lot of it from a flyer here but I did alter it.

There's a file around somewhere, I think Jane updated it, with a whole slew of different bundles, at different price points. And they're categorized like that, too.

I think for the show environment though, one of the purposes of the bundle is to take away the stress of picking from all the great products in the catalog. Creating a slew of bundles kind of defeats the purpose. I think a $50 bundle would be a great idea (or $60 so they qualify for the guest special), but I'd only do one.
