I have a friend in Japan that is doing a show for me..... she got an order online and the person selected to ship to host... I told the host that she had to tell people that they had to select the direct ship option... what do I do??

Do I email the person and tell them that the order will be more cause it has to be direct shipped?

That's what you have to do! I would also email HO and ask them for there to be an option on our websites to be able to choose direct ship only as the only available shipping option for certain shows.

Ok I will do;) Thank you just wanted to make sure that is what I needed to do.

Is the ordering guest overseas as well or state side? If she is state side call her if overseas email her. Either way you need to make contact with the ordering guest to confirm the order and who knows maybe you can suggest an "add on" item...did she order a cookie press? They are after all on sale this month.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the key considerations for shipping products to Japan for my overseas show?

When shipping products to Japan, consider customs regulations, shipping costs, and delivery times. Ensure that your products comply with Japanese import laws and that you have all necessary documentation, such as invoices and customs declarations. Research reliable shipping carriers that offer international services and track your shipments to avoid delays.

How can I minimize shipping costs for my Pampered Chef show in Japan?

To minimize shipping costs, consolidate your orders to reduce the number of packages sent. Compare rates from different shipping carriers and consider using flat-rate shipping options if available. Additionally, explore bulk shipping discounts or partnerships with logistics companies that specialize in international shipping.

What are the best practices for packaging products for international shipping?

Use sturdy, high-quality packaging materials to protect your products during transit. Ensure that items are securely cushioned with bubble wrap or packing peanuts to prevent damage. Clearly label each package with the correct shipping address and include a packing slip inside. Also, consider using waterproof packaging to protect against moisture during shipping.

How can I track my shipments to ensure they arrive on time?

Most shipping carriers provide tracking numbers that allow you to monitor your shipments in real-time. Share these tracking numbers with your customers so they can also keep an eye on their orders. Set up alerts for any delays or issues that may arise during transit, and communicate proactively with your customers to keep them informed.

What should I do if my shipment gets delayed or lost?

If your shipment is delayed or lost, first contact the shipping carrier to inquire about the status and any potential issues. Keep your customers informed and provide updates as you receive information. If necessary, file a claim with the carrier for lost items and consider offering replacements or refunds to maintain customer satisfaction.
