For those of you who have done this, could you please let me know how you did it? I have a few products (NIB) that I would like to offer as an enticer to schedule a show at my upcoming shows this week... how have you done it when you've done it? Envelopes, pictures, etc? Thanks for your help! :)

I had envelopes with the dates I wanted to book and a piece of paper with the name and value of the product inside.

About this time of year, I have put pictures of the items with price inside plastic Easter eggs.

I had 3 dates left for March thhat I had to fill so I offered a bribe. I told them at the beginning of the show that I had so goofy dates to fill in March and if they took that date I was in a bribing mood. I told them to ask me at the end of the show what the bribe was. Then I forgot about it. They did remind me at the end and all it was is that I would buy their host special for next month or I would make them my top secret and much coveted Reesie peanut butter trifle, and bring it made to the show. Only 1 picked the product :)
Personally, that is about as hokey as I will get about bookings and I only did it because I always do weekend shows and I will be away for THREE weekends next month (how did I manage that!?!) and really still want a paycheck!;)

I have a calendar printed out with the dates and the product listed right on the dates. They circle the date they want. I've done this for years with tons of success.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are NIB products and how can they help in scheduling a show?

NIB products, or New In Box products, are items that are brand new and have never been used. They can be used as incentives to entice customers to schedule a show by showcasing the latest offerings from Pampered Chef. By highlighting these new products, you can create excitement and interest among potential hosts, encouraging them to book a show to see and experience these items firsthand.

How can I effectively showcase NIB products during a presentation?

To effectively showcase NIB products during a presentation, consider setting up a display that highlights their features and benefits. Use engaging demonstrations to show how the products work and how they can simplify cooking or entertaining. Additionally, provide samples of food prepared using these products to give attendees a taste of their functionality and quality, making them more likely to want to host a show.

Can I offer NIB products as incentives for booking a show?

Yes, offering NIB products as incentives for booking a show can be a powerful motivator. You can create special promotions where hosts receive a NIB product for scheduling a show or as a reward for reaching certain sales goals during their show. This not only encourages bookings but also gives hosts a tangible benefit that enhances their experience.

What types of NIB products are most appealing to potential hosts?

Products that are versatile, innovative, or currently trending tend to be the most appealing to potential hosts. Items like new kitchen gadgets, seasonal products, or exclusive limited-time offers can generate excitement. Additionally, consider the preferences of your target audience; for example, if they enjoy baking, showcasing new bakeware can be particularly enticing.

How can I follow up with customers after showcasing NIB products?

After showcasing NIB products, follow up with customers through personalized messages or emails. Thank them for attending and remind them of the benefits of hosting a show featuring these products. You can also share additional information about the products, including recipes or tips for using them, and encourage them to book a show to explore these items further.
