I was wondering if anyone has any ideas that they have used where they live to get BIG orders, such as different companies or things like that.:o

The only advice I can give you is to contact realtors and get them to have a regualr gift that they give the the buyers at closing for their new home.

Also, call up some doctor's offices and ask which moring would be best to bring them breakfast and make up some citrus muffins or sticky caramel cakes and take coffee and OJ to them with some catalogs. You lose a little money by doing this when you do several at a time but you never know who may book a show or decide that they want to sell.

Hope this helps you out, newbie.....;)

Yes, I have some ideas that have worked for me in the past. One strategy is to reach out to local businesses and offer bulk discounts for their employees. For example, you could offer a discount for a company's holiday party or provide a bulk order option for their office supplies. Another idea is to partner with event planners or wedding coordinators to offer your products or services for large events. Additionally, networking and attending trade shows or industry events can help you connect with potential clients who may be interested in placing large orders. Lastly, leveraging social media and online marketplaces can also help you reach a wider audience and attract bigger orders.

Frequently Asked Questions

What strategies can I use to approach local businesses for big orders?

Start by researching local businesses that align with your products. Create a personalized pitch highlighting how Pampered Chef products can benefit their operations, such as enhancing employee engagement through team-building cooking events or improving their catering services. Schedule a meeting to present your ideas and offer samples to showcase the quality of the products.

How can I build relationships with local business owners?

Networking is key. Attend local business events, join community groups, and participate in local fairs to meet business owners. Follow up with a friendly email or a handwritten note after your initial meeting to express your appreciation for their time. Regularly check in with them, share relevant promotions, and invite them to Pampered Chef events to keep the relationship warm.

What kind of discounts or incentives can I offer to secure larger orders?

Consider offering tiered discounts based on the size of the order, such as 10% off for orders over a certain amount. You can also provide free shipping or a complimentary product for large orders. Additionally, consider creating a special package deal tailored to the business's needs, which can make the offer more appealing.

How can I demonstrate the value of Pampered Chef products to businesses?

Prepare a presentation that showcases the unique features and benefits of Pampered Chef products, such as their durability, ease of use, and versatility. Use testimonials from other businesses or customers to illustrate how the products have positively impacted their operations. Offering a live demonstration can also effectively highlight the products' value in real-time.

What follow-up strategies should I use after my initial pitch to local businesses?

After your initial pitch, send a follow-up email thanking them for their time and reiterating key points from your discussion. Include any additional information they requested and a reminder of any special offers. Schedule a follow-up call or meeting to discuss their thoughts and answer any questions they may have. Consistent and thoughtful follow-up can help keep your proposal top of mind.
