:eek:TOTALLY CLUELESS!!! I am it. She has nothing planned and has asked me to take care of it all.
Invitations, Recipe, Gifts, Games.....

Suggestions desperately needed!!!!!

Thank you!

Hmmm, that’s an interesting request.

When I present a Wedding Shower Show, I work with whoever is hosting the show. I will give them the invitations to send, work with the bride & groom on their wish list and demo one recipe (as quickly as possible) at the shower. You can have the bride-to-be prepare the recipe with you (some people have the bridal party help) or just do it yourself if you think that will be quicker.

I usually recommend that the games be kept to a minimum (one!). and give them suggestions of what they might like to do – but it’s up to the host to plan that part. Also, if they want to have “gifts” they would provide those but they could purchase them ahead of time (if there is time enough) from you.

You can search the links below for lots of great ideas on how to present a Wedding Shower Show.

It sounds to me like you’re being asked to do a lot of things that I don’t consider as part of your job description in this situation. So, pick and choose what you are willing to do. This is your business and you need to set boundaries or people will set them for you.

It does sound like she's asking you to HOST the shower and not just be the consultant. That's odd and not really how PC Wedding Showers go. Maybe she misunderstood that?

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do first after booking my first bridal shower?

Congratulations on booking your first bridal shower! The first step is to reach out to the bride or the person organizing the shower to discuss their vision for the event. This includes the date, time, location, and any specific themes or preferences they may have. It's also a good idea to confirm the guest list and any special requests they might have regarding the Pampered Chef products.

How can I promote the bridal shower to ensure good attendance?

To promote the bridal shower, create an inviting atmosphere by sending out beautiful invitations that reflect the theme. Utilize social media platforms to share details and excitement about the event. You can also encourage the bride or host to share the event with their friends and family. Additionally, consider offering incentives for guests who RSVP early or bring a friend.

What products should I showcase at the bridal shower?

Focus on products that are popular and useful for newlyweds. Consider showcasing items that can help with meal prep, entertaining, and kitchen organization. Some great options include kitchen tools, cookware, and unique serving pieces. You might also want to demonstrate a few quick recipes using these products to engage the guests and show them the value of the items.

How can I make the bridal shower interactive and fun?

To make the bridal shower interactive, plan a few hands-on activities such as cooking demonstrations or mini cooking classes. You can also set up stations where guests can try out different products or participate in a fun recipe challenge. Encourage guests to ask questions and share their own cooking tips and experiences to foster a lively atmosphere.

What should I do after the bridal shower?

After the bridal shower, follow up with the bride and the guests to thank them for attending. Send a personalized message or a small thank-you note to express your appreciation. Additionally, review the sales from the event and reach out to any guests who showed interest in placing orders or hosting their own parties. This follow-up can help you build relationships and grow your business further.
