I've seen on the website that there is a "Sample the Pampered Chef" thing that Directors can do -

I'm wondering if anybody did this before they became a director? I have several people I've spoken casually about becoming a consultant with and I was thinking of inviting them over some weekend and doing a "recruiting" show.

Has anybody done this? Did you have any success?

I offered one and no one RSVP'd. But I did call everyone and got a recruit! So it was worth it at least to contact everyone.

I am a FD and my director and I have a "Tuesday Morning Training at 10-TMTT" each week. We invite all of our consultants as well as potential recruits. We make a recipe and take about the business, bookings, host coaching etc. We always have potentials come and it is a great way for them to meet other consultants and get different perspectives on the business.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of inviting potential recruits to my Pampered Chef party?

Inviting potential recruits to your Pampered Chef party can help them see the products in action, experience the fun of the business, and understand the community aspect of being a consultant. It also provides an opportunity for them to ask questions and learn about the benefits of joining your team firsthand.

How should I approach potential recruits when inviting them to my party?

When inviting potential recruits, be genuine and enthusiastic about the opportunity. Share your personal experiences, highlight the benefits of being a Pampered Chef consultant, and explain how they can benefit from attending the party. Make sure to invite them in a friendly manner, emphasizing that it’s a fun event rather than a sales pitch.

What if potential recruits are hesitant to attend the party?

If potential recruits are hesitant, reassure them that the party is a low-pressure environment where they can simply enjoy the food and socializing. You can also offer to answer any questions they may have about the business afterward, making it clear that their attendance is welcome but not obligatory.

How can I follow up with potential recruits after the party?

After the party, follow up with potential recruits by sending a thank-you message for attending. Ask for their feedback on the event and if they have any questions about the business. This is also a great time to share any additional resources or information about joining your team, reinforcing the positive aspects they experienced during the party.

What should I do if no one expresses interest in joining after the party?

If no one expresses interest in joining after the party, don’t be discouraged. It’s important to remember that recruitment can take time. Keep nurturing relationships with your guests, continue to share your experiences, and invite them to future events. Building trust and rapport can eventually lead to interest in joining your team.
