Good Luck & Congrats!! I'm in nursing school now and I'll give you a little advice- it's VERY demanding and challenging, but totally worth it in the end!! It takes ALOT of dedication and hard work, but don't give up!!

If you need any advice or help, just PM me. Us nursing students need to stick together b/c there are so few and it's so hard to become one!!

:thumbup: Way to go. I have been an RN for a long time (28) years.:balloon: Love it. :love: I am now a nurse practiotner and love that even more. I have never been sorry that I went to nursing school right out of high school... maybe I should have said grade school....::D It is a wonderful job.Good luck. It is demanding but you will be so blessed when you finish. I sell PC part time, looking toward retirment and having a fun, non stressful thing to do. Besides, I love to cook:love:
 
CONGRATULATIONS! My daughter is getting ready to start college in the fall and is going into nursing! We are hoping and praying she can get good enough grades and pass the test!

She will be a CNA before she finishes high school due to her internships.

I'm lucky because once I start the program I will only have to take nursing classes, so one class a semester. :) I already have a degree...in Parks and Recreation :confused: :confused: :confused: ...so most of my stuff transferred in. I'm taking AP II right now, :confused:. Thanks for the advice!!

Oh, where in PA are you from??? I'm from Pittsburgh originally.

:) Congrats :) I started off in nursing school right ater college and realized it was not the career for me. I have so much respect and admiration for the nursing profession. Best of luck!!!
 
I'm from Greene County, about 15 mins. from Waynesburg college. I'm in A&P also!! :yuck: We're dissecting the same cat from last semester!! :yuck: Talk about a God awful smell!!
