How many catalogs do you give your host? Also, if she changes her mind do you ever ask for the catalogs back? Just curious...

cattysDepends on what the Hosts wants - usually b/w 6-8.

If she decided NOT to do a Show - I would just ask her 'what is easier for you - to mail the cattys back to me, or drop them off at my house?' (if she doesn't live TOO far away). If it is going to bother the Host too much (or if she is going to make a big fuss over getting them back to you) then I might not bother.....

I give a cooking show host 2 and a catalog show host 3. I ask each coaching call if they need more and tell them I can get them as many as they need. I've rarely had a catty host ask for more. I also remind them each call that the entire catalog is online and encourage them to collect orders that way.

Usually I do not ask for them to be returned, but it depends on the circumstances.

averageI think the average is maybe about 5 for a catty show....I just give more because I find a lot of my Hosts have told me that when they have done other Home Parties - the Consultant only gave them 1 catty in advance....

Hi there! As a Pampered Chef consultant, I typically give my host 10-15 catalogs to distribute to her guests. This way, everyone has a chance to browse through and make their wishlists. If my host changes her mind and decides not to have a party, I usually ask for the catalogs back. This is because I want to make sure they are being used effectively and not going to waste. Plus, I can always use them for future parties or events.Hope that helps answer your question. Happy cooking!Best,

Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I give catalogs to my host?

Giving catalogs to your host is essential as it allows them to share the products with their guests before the party. This helps generate excitement and encourages guests to make informed purchasing decisions. It also gives your host the opportunity to showcase their favorite products, which can lead to higher sales and more rewards for them.

How many catalogs should I provide to my host?

It's generally recommended to provide at least one catalog for every guest expected at the party. This ensures that everyone has access to the product information and can browse at their leisure. If your host has a larger guest list, consider providing a few extra catalogs to accommodate any last-minute additions.

What should I include with the catalogs I give to my host?

Along with the catalogs, you should include order forms, a host coaching guide, and any promotional materials or flyers that highlight current specials or new products. This comprehensive package will help your host effectively communicate the offerings and encourage orders from their guests.

Can my host distribute digital catalogs instead of physical ones?

Yes, digital catalogs can be an excellent alternative to physical ones. Many hosts prefer to share catalogs via email or social media, making it easy for guests to browse and shop from their devices. Just ensure that your host knows how to access and share the digital catalog effectively.

What if my host forgets to distribute the catalogs?

If your host forgets to distribute the catalogs, you can gently remind them during your pre-party coaching session. Encourage them to share the catalogs as soon as possible, even if it's last minute. You can also offer to send a follow-up message to their guests with a link to the catalog, ensuring everyone has access to the product information.
