I had a party Friday and we made a Brownie/Peanut Butter Cup Trifle. I also told the host I'd make garlic bites. Well, I got there and she gave me TS's garlic to use (if I'd known she didn't have fresh garlic cloves, I'd have brought my own). It was not nearly as good as pressing our own (I do love TS stuff, but this was a HUGE difference).:chef:

Not to mention that you don't really want to use another DS companies product at our shows...

Paula, that is true, I just had no choice. I'll bring my own cloves from now on after this.

I have made them with our Parmesan Garlic Oil Dipping Seasoning and they come out pretty well.

That's a reason I either provide the food (if doing a promotion), or my recruiter suggested offering to do the shopping and then when closing out the show for the host, you let her know you'll be adding the cost of the food to her total. Then you KNOW what you'll have on hand- plus it lends to the "easy to host" concept.

I have done this before, problem is, if you don't do it all the time, then I forget to collect at the end of the show! :blushing: 'my bad!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are Garlic Bites and how do I prepare them?

Garlic Bites are a delicious appetizer made with fresh garlic, butter, and seasonings, baked until golden brown. To prepare them, simply mix the ingredients, shape them into bite-sized pieces, and bake according to the recipe instructions.

Why should I use fresh pressed garlic for Garlic Bites?

Using fresh pressed garlic enhances the flavor of Garlic Bites significantly. Fresh garlic has a more robust taste and aroma compared to pre-minced or powdered garlic, making your dish more flavorful and aromatic.

Can I use garlic powder instead of fresh pressed garlic?

While you can use garlic powder in a pinch, it won't provide the same depth of flavor as fresh pressed garlic. For the best results and authentic taste, it's recommended to stick with fresh garlic.

How do I press garlic for the best results?

To press garlic, simply peel the cloves and place them in a garlic press. Squeeze the handles together to crush the garlic, releasing its juices and oils. This method maximizes the flavor and ensures even distribution in your Garlic Bites.

Can I prepare Garlic Bites in advance?

Yes, you can prepare Garlic Bites in advance! You can mix the ingredients and shape them into bites, then refrigerate them until you're ready to bake. Just be sure to adjust the baking time if they are cold from the fridge.
