Hey all, I'm all new when it comes to Fundraising for PC. I've never done it, never approached anyone about it or have any clue how to. I ordered the fundraising fliers but now have no idea on how to go about sending them schools etc. Do I just send the flier with my info stamped on it and thats all? Or is there a letter or something that goes along with it? PLEASE help!!!

The only fundraiser I have ever done was with my sweet adelines chorus and a HWC one. I would just ask people you know who are in organizations that do a lot of fundraising, etc and give them a flier. Hope that helps.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best way to design a fundraising flyer for schools?

When designing a fundraising flyer, keep it simple and visually appealing. Use bright colors and clear fonts to grab attention. Include key information such as the purpose of the fundraiser, dates, and how the funds will be used. Adding images of the products or activities can also make the flyer more engaging.

How can I effectively distribute flyers to schools?

To effectively distribute flyers, contact the school administration to seek permission first. Once approved, consider sending flyers home with students, posting them on school bulletin boards, or sharing them during school events. You can also ask teachers to share them with their classes via email or newsletters.

What should I include in the flyer to encourage participation?

Include a compelling call to action, such as “Help us reach our goal!” or “Join us in supporting our school!” Clearly state the benefits of participating, such as how the funds will impact students or the school community. Providing a deadline for orders can also create a sense of urgency.

How can I follow up after sending out the flyers?

After distributing the flyers, consider sending a follow-up email or message to parents and guardians, reminding them of the fundraiser and its importance. You can also provide updates on progress and encourage them to share the flyer with friends and family to expand your reach.

What are some common mistakes to avoid when fundraising through schools?

Common mistakes include not obtaining proper permission from the school, failing to clearly communicate the fundraiser's purpose, and not following up with participants. Additionally, avoid overwhelming parents with too much information on the flyer; keep it concise and focused on key details.
