Can you give me a rough est. of costs? Flight, the last time I checked would be $190ish. Was Reg $200? And hotel $100? Then food $ needed?? Trying to figure out if it's feasible for me... since reg deadline is Today!

Re: Help!Hi Heather,

I just checked last years taxes...

Reg: $175.00
Air: $250.00 (from Oregon)
Room: $296.72
Exps: $196.00 (food, materials, shopping, etc.)

Hope this helps a little....

Oh, rooms are that much!?

Re: Help! The rooms are $160/night but maybe you could find a roommate or two to split the cost. My director & I are sharing & each paying for one night. That helps a bit. :)

Re: Help!We are doing 4 on our room, so it will be really cheap. Check with your director.

Re: Help! Will Merrill be set up to sell stuff? Or what other "shopping" can I expect to do at leadership? Aside from personal sightseeing I mean.

Re: Help!Hey Heather!

Did you get my message??

Yes, Merrill is usually there, so I assume they will be this time. that's really the only "extra" I would imagine besides hotel and dinners. Breakfast is included on Fri and Sat, lunch all 3 days (well the last day it's called a "Grab & Go Snack Bag" which seems like it will suffice for lunch) and no dinners included.

I wonder if there's any way they'd extend the registration past today because it seemed like it took forever for the IPT to update and I know other FD's who had problems registering until that finally updated. IF you haven't made a decision yet, I wonder if you'd have a case to have them let you register tomorrow because it took so long to update.

Also, rooms are $139 (+ tax) and you'd be splitting it 4 ways for 3 nights (in the room that I mentioned you'd have a spot in), so it's actually pretty cheap.

I hope it works out so you can go!!!

I told DH that I could either go to Denver for 3 days to get 3000 points or do an extra party every month to make it up!

Done! Registered!:D Now I just need to get my flight tix today!:)

Re: Help! After today, you just register on-site. You can still go, just can't register electronically. Don't expect to get any special treatment for the updates. In the past, the response has been that you just have to register on-site then. It's really not a big deal. The classes are all good that are offered, and you can change them once you get there even if you register beforehand. Last year, I changed my mind with almost every workshop as to what I wanted to change next (no clue what was going through my brain -- or if I just wanted to see what would happen, really, it was stupid), and I was able to get the class I wanted every time. I don't think registering on-site will be a big deal. SOOOO, that being said, you don't really have to make up your mind today, just if you feel you HAVE to register online.

DOH, except for registering on the VERY LAST day, the class I wanted was booked full! :( Hopefully I can get some notes on the "recruit leads from every show" workshop!??

Re: Help! Also, not sure if Southwest flies from there to Denver, but they just dropped their prices from here to $70 each way! I got a great deal when I booked it for $90 each way awhile ago, so, I just got credited. Check them out!

Again, the classes will likely open back up when you get there. People change their classes around the whole time and things open up because people don't show, etc.
