find out how much the school/ daycare expects to get (percentage wise) a friend of mine wont do any fund raisers for less than 30% to the school. Thus our FR won't be worth the school's time.
Effective themes for fall/winter fundraisers can include holiday cooking classes, seasonal recipe contests, or cozy kitchen gatherings. You can also consider themes like "Warm Up with Pampered Chef" featuring comfort food recipes or "Holiday Prep Party" to help participants get ready for the festive season.
To promote your fundraiser, utilize social media platforms, create engaging event pages, and send out invitations via email or direct mail. Collaborate with local community groups or schools to spread the word, and consider offering incentives for early RSVPs or referrals to encourage participation.
Focus on products that are popular during the colder months, such as slow cookers, baking tools, and kitchen gadgets for preparing holiday meals. Highlight items that can be used for entertaining, like serving platters and festive cookware, as well as seasonal recipe collections that inspire cooking during the holidays.
To ensure success, set clear goals for your fundraiser, such as a target amount to raise. Plan engaging activities, such as cooking demonstrations or recipe sharing, to keep participants interested. Follow up with attendees after the event to thank them and encourage future participation, and always gather feedback to improve future fundraisers.
As a beginner, start by reaching out to your personal network to book events, and be clear about the purpose of the fundraiser. Offer flexible scheduling options and be prepared to answer questions about the products and the fundraising process. Building relationships with potential hosts can also lead to more bookings, so focus on creating a friendly and approachable atmosphere.
