I've had the Salad and Berry Spinner since last year when we earned them. I've used it twice for lettuce since then. The first time the lettuce didn't seem to get that dry but I figured maybe I packed it too tight. I tried it again with the Deluxe Cheeseburger Salad on Friday and put less lettuce in the bowl. It still didn't seem to get that dry. Am I doing something wrong? Do I maybe have a defective spinner, or a defective operator? I would hate to actually show it at a show and it not do the right thing.

You may have to spin it, stop, dump out the water and then repeat those steps 1-2 more times...just depends on how wet it is!

It certainly isn't "dry" but all of the excess water is off...

Also, make sure it is really spinning. That thing can go fast! Pump it and pump it and pump it...then stop it fast. Do that a couple of times and it will only have a memory of being wet.

There is never that much water in the bottom. I take the lettuce and rinse it in the colander bowl and then spin it a few times.

Hi there! I'm sorry to hear that you've been having some trouble with your Salad and Berry Spinner. It sounds like you may be doing everything correctly, but there could be a few things that could be causing the issue.First, make sure that you are following the instructions for the spinner and not overloading it with too much lettuce. If there is too much lettuce in the spinner, it won't be able to spin and dry properly.Another thing to check is the condition of the spinner itself. Make sure that the lid is securely fastened and that the gears are working properly. If there is any damage or defects, please reach out to our customer service team for assistance.Lastly, it's possible that the lettuce you are using may be too wet to begin with. Try patting it dry before placing it in the spinner to help with the drying process.I hope these tips help! If you continue to have issues with your Salad and Berry Spinner, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team for further assistance. We want to make sure you are fully satisfied with your Pampered Chef products. Happy spinning!
