Has anyone ordered the bulk spices? Does any one know how many bottles of the rubs are in each of the bulk bags of rubs?

John....I think about 4-6? If you look at the supply order, it shows the number of ounces in each bulk pack. Some are 9, some are 12-14 oz. Most of the rubs/spices are 2-2.5 oz in the bottles.

Thanks Bobbi! That is good info to have. I use a lot of the Chipotle Rub but not much of the others so I wanted to know if it was worth for me to do them in bulk as well.

are these done in such a way we could use them for door prizes?

You would have to purchase some small containers to divide it up into smaller portions but you can do that. Many do.

I have the crushed peppercorn and it says serving size 3/4 tsp.. and there are 151 servings. net weight is 14 oz.

I believe they said that the bulk bags are the equivalent of 4 spices (large bottles) or 6 rubs (small bottles)

Frequently Asked Questions

What are spice equivalents and why are they important for bulk orders?

Spice equivalents refer to the amount of one spice that can be substituted for another in a recipe. Understanding these equivalents is crucial for bulk orders as it helps ensure that the right flavor profile is maintained while purchasing larger quantities, saving both time and money.

How can I find the right spice equivalents for my bulk orders?

You can find spice equivalents by consulting a spice conversion chart, which lists common spices and their substitutes along with the recommended measurements. Additionally, many culinary websites and cookbooks provide guidance on spice substitutions.

Are there specific Pampered Chef products that can help with spice measurements?

Yes, Pampered Chef offers a variety of measuring tools, such as measuring spoons and cups, that can help you accurately measure spices for both small and bulk orders. Additionally, their spice containers are designed for easy storage and organization.

Can I use dried herbs instead of fresh herbs in bulk orders?

Yes, dried herbs can be used instead of fresh herbs, but the conversion ratio is typically 1:3, meaning you should use one-third the amount of dried herbs compared to fresh. This is important to consider when placing bulk orders to ensure you have the right quantities.

What should I consider when ordering spices in bulk for a large event?

When ordering spices in bulk for a large event, consider the flavor profiles of your dishes, the spice equivalents needed, the shelf life of the spices, and any dietary restrictions of your guests. Additionally, ensure you have the proper storage containers to keep the spices fresh.
