So my (old) bamboo spoon STAINED yesterday!! I mean, it sat in a pot of peas for about an hour and a half and after soaking it overnight AND today - it looks like someone wiped my baby's butt with it!!! :yuck:

I earned it last February (before I signed) at a show that I hosted. So I called and was told to send back the damaged one. Fine, but will they not send my new one until I send the old one back?? Just wondering...

I don't think they will send the new before they receive the old/damaged.

I just submitted a product adjustment for the old bamboo spoon set.
Once they receive the old set they will ship the new.

Frequently Asked Questions

Did my bamboo spoon get ruined in just one day?

It’s unlikely that your bamboo spoon is ruined after just one day of use. Bamboo is a durable material, but it can be affected by moisture and heat. If you notice any changes, it may just need proper care.

What signs indicate that my bamboo spoon is damaged?

Common signs of damage include warping, cracking, or discoloration. If your spoon has developed any of these issues, it may need to be replaced, but minor wear can often be remedied with proper cleaning and conditioning.

How should I clean and maintain my bamboo spoon?

To maintain your bamboo spoon, wash it by hand with mild soap and warm water. Avoid soaking it or putting it in the dishwasher, as excessive moisture can cause damage. After washing, dry it immediately with a towel.

Can I restore my bamboo spoon if it has started to crack?

If your bamboo spoon has developed small cracks, you can try to restore it by applying food-safe mineral oil. This can help to condition the wood and may reduce the appearance of cracks, but severe damage may require replacement.

Is it safe to use a bamboo spoon that has changed color?

Color changes in bamboo spoons can occur due to exposure to heat or certain foods. As long as there are no signs of mold or significant damage, it is generally safe to continue using the spoon. However, regular inspection is recommended.
