Does anyone have a 4th of July Trifle recipe???????????? Thanks in advance!!!!!

1 container fresh strawberries
2T sugar
1 ready-made Angel Food Cake
1 small tub Lite Cool Whip (or homemade whipped cream)
1 small tub Marzetti's Fruit Dip
2T strawberry preserves

Cube the angel food cake and set aside.
Slice and hull the strawberries and toss with the sugar. Set aside. Reserve one strawberry whole.
Mix the preserves with the Fruit Dip. Fold in about 1/4C of the Cool Whip.
Layer in a glass trifle bowl in the following order:
1/2 the cubed cake
1/2 the strawberries in the syrup that was created by mixing the sugar with them
All of the Fruit Dip/Preserves mixture
1/2 of the cubed cake
1/2 of the strawberries
The rest of the cool whip.

Fan the last strawberry and place on top for garnish.

You can grate some white chocolate on top if you'd like.

I will be making this for our July 4th Barbecue, but I will be adding blueberries as well to give it that red, white and blue patriotic look.

Here is one from a huge doc of Trifle recipes:

Patti's All American Trifle
Patti's All American Trifle uses strawberries and blueberries for the red and blue. White is the whipped cream.
Ingredients:
• 2 (12oz.) containers whipped topping, thawed
• 1 5.9 ounce package vanilla instant pudding
• 1 whole angel food cake, cut into 1 inch cubes
• Sliced fresh strawberries and blueberries
• Slivered almonds

You could also make a box blueberry muffin mix, then layer with vanilla pudding and then regular or strawberry Cool Whip with Blueberries and strawberries....

I made one last night that was SUPER good!

2 boxes sugar free white chocolate pudding
1 8oz container sugar free whipped topping
1 angel food cake
strawberries
blueberries

I combined the pudding and whipped topping and did cake layer, cream layer, blueberries and then strawberries. It was so good and was gone very quickly! I plan on making it again on Wed. and again on Friday for a pot luck.
