Director Jennifer Adams has found a fabulous way to feature our Trifle Bowl. After her demo, while guests are perusing their catalogues and making their purchasing decisions, Jennifer quickly builds a trifle. She layers brownies cut into small pieces, then chocolate pudding, then cool whip sprinkled with crushed score bars. She then slices strawberries using our Egg Slicer Plus® and stands them up around the sides of the Trifle Bowl. She repeats the layers again and garnishes with more strawberries. Easy to do and a real show stopper - Jennifer sold six Trifle Bowls to guests when she did this. Great idea ... Jennifer is going to offer this as an add-on when her hosts have fifteen guests in attendance.
A trifle bowl is a large, typically glass bowl that is used to display layered desserts. For Easter, you can use it to create a beautiful centerpiece by layering decorative grass and plastic or chocolate eggs, giving a festive touch to your table.
To create the trifle bowl decoration, you will need a trifle bowl, decorative grass (real or artificial), and eggs (plastic, chocolate, or dyed hard-boiled eggs). Optional items include flowers or other spring-themed decorations to enhance the look.
Start by placing a layer of decorative grass at the bottom of the trifle bowl. Then, arrange the eggs on top of the grass. You can alternate layers of grass and eggs to create a visually appealing display. Finish with a final layer of grass on top to cover any gaps.
Yes! The trifle bowl can be adapted for various occasions. For example, you can use seasonal decorations like leaves and pumpkins for fall, or flowers and seashells for summer. The layering concept works well for any festive display.
After using your trifle bowl, carefully remove the decorations and wash the bowl with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry it with a soft cloth. Store the bowl in a safe place to prevent breakage, and consider wrapping it in bubble wrap if storing for an extended period.
