Now that the HWC items have been announced/available on PWS, we know that the ribbon stencils are available this month.

This set was a HWC item a couple of years ago and didn't sell very well (at least for me). But you can market them to your customers who are involved in other causes. Just because the stencils themselves are pink doesn't mean that you have to make the ribbons pink. ;)

The stencils can be used to decorate baked goods for charity bake sales for any cause. Know someone who raises money for the Lance Armstrong Foundation or organizations that support US troops overseas? They can use yellow frosting/sugar. Heart disease or AIDS? Use red. General cancer causes? Lavender.

You can find other causes and colors http://www.craftsnscraps.com/jewelry/ribbons.html.

Re: StencilsAlzheimer's is purple. There is no end to the list of causes you can use them for. I even bought at the supermarket today a ribbon cookie cutter to have. I told people about the stencils when we sold them last time and sold a few. I definately will have to plug that again.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are ribbon stencils and how can they be used for charity bake sales?

Ribbon stencils are decorative templates made from flexible materials that can be used to create patterns or designs on baked goods. For charity bake sales, they can be used to add visually appealing designs to cookies, cakes, and cupcakes, enhancing their presentation and attracting more buyers.

How can I incorporate ribbon stencils into my baked goods for a charity sale?

You can use ribbon stencils by placing them over your baked goods and dusting them with powdered sugar, cocoa powder, or edible glitter. This technique allows you to create beautiful designs that can represent the charity or theme of your bake sale, making your treats stand out.

Are there specific types of baked goods that work best with ribbon stencils?

Ribbon stencils work well with flat surfaces, so cookies, brownies, and cakes with smooth tops are ideal. You can also use them on cupcakes by stenciling the frosting on top. Just ensure the surface is even and not too soft to maintain the design.

Can I create my own ribbon stencils for the bake sale?

Yes, you can create your own ribbon stencils using materials like cardstock or plastic sheets. Simply design your desired pattern, cut it out carefully, and use it just like a store-bought stencil. This allows for personalization and creativity that reflects the charity's mission.

How can I promote my charity bake sale using ribbon stencils?

Promote your charity bake sale by showcasing the unique designs created with ribbon stencils on social media and flyers. Share photos of your decorated baked goods, highlighting the creativity and effort put into them. You can also include information about the charity and how the proceeds will help, encouraging more people to attend and support the cause.
