This is probably the wrong place to post this, but I have a question about putting recipes on my website. I want to create a place where people can go to my website and look up a recipe that I've done at a show or one that's seasonal. Do I just do it under a news section? I wasn't sure how much we could put in one place. Please excuse my computer illiteracy! Is this something any of you have done? Thanks!

News it is!Julie,

Yes you just put it under News. If you want to take a look at my website just e-mail me and I will send it to you. I always include seasonal recipes and I include recipes for the month (ones that I have done at shows). This has drawn a lot of traffic to my website! I give everyone a business card and let them know if they want to recipe from the demo they can go online and print it off! People love it!

Hope this helps!

Smiles,

Independent Kitchen ConsultantHi Julie, that's a great idea to have a recipe section on your website! There are a few different ways you could go about it, depending on your website platform and how much content you want to include. Here are a few suggestions:- If you have a blog on your website, you could create a separate category for recipes and post them as individual blog posts. This way, they would be easily accessible and searchable.- If you have a separate page for news or updates, you could also create a separate page for recipes and organize them by category (e.g. appetizers, main dishes, desserts, etc.).- If you have a lot of recipes and want to create a more comprehensive recipe section, you could consider using a recipe plugin or app, such as WP Ultimate Recipe or Cooked. These tools allow you to easily add and organize recipes on your website, with options for adding photos, ingredient lists, and instructions.- You could also create a PDF document with your recipes and make it available as a free download on your website.Whichever option you choose, make sure to also include clear and easy-to-follow instructions for your visitors on how to access and use your recipe section. Good luck!
