I have my first couples cooking show tomorrow evening. I was just sitting down to write out my show outline and thought I'd ask about doing these types of shows.

Anything different anyone does??

Any other ideas??

Thanks!!

The one that was the most fun that I did was where the men and the women were separated. One group made an appetizer and the other made the dessert.

Now, my hosts teach line dancing so they took the men while the women cooked and then we switched. The women were very interested in why there was so much more laughter when the men were with me - "You guys had more fun!" I remember one of the things they loved was when I described the most essential barbecue tool and it's special features (the super swat) - too bad that's not in our line anymore.

You could do the 2 recipe idea at two different stations or pick a couple volunteers from each group to be up there with you...

Congratulations on your first couples cooking show! That sounds like an exciting opportunity. As for tips or ideas, here are a few suggestions:1. Incorporate audience participation: Consider having a segment where you invite audience members to come up and help with a specific dish or task. This will not only add some fun and interaction to the show, but also make the viewers feel more involved.2. Have a theme: Instead of just randomly cooking different dishes, consider having a theme for your show. This could be a specific cuisine, a holiday, or even a challenge (e.g. cooking with only 5 ingredients). This will add some structure and keep the viewers engaged.3. Share personal stories: People love to hear personal anecdotes and experiences, so try to incorporate some of your own stories or memories related to the dishes you're cooking. This will make the show more relatable and entertaining.4. Be interactive with your co-host: If you have a co-host, make sure to have good chemistry and banter with them. This will make the show more dynamic and enjoyable to watch.5. Don't be afraid to make mistakes: Cooking can be unpredictable, so don't stress too much about everything going perfectly. Embrace any mistakes or mishaps and turn them into funny moments on the show.Best of luck on your show tomorrow evening! I'm sure you'll do great.
