I actually used a wild rice and long grain mix and decided to see if it came out okay in the rice cooker. I burned the bottom of it. The package came with microwave directions - 3 min on high and 22 minutes on 50% power. I actually stopped it at 10 to check it and it seemed to be okay. I turned around a few minutes later and it was burning. Oh well, at least I know not to recommend it.
