Update on the shoe search...I found some made by SoftWalk at Off Broadway Shoes (which I LOVE-- great bargains, wide selection), and they are the most cushiony shoes I've ever tried on. They're not the cutest things in the world, but comfort trumps cuteness when it comes to the happiness of my feet.
