LOL - I totally agree! (Paulette and I sit through the same speeches - last years were especially long and painful - but at least I was sitting next to someone fun! heehee)etteluap70PC said:Oh I hope so! That would be soooo much better than the hours of recognition and speeches I am used to!

This was exactly what I was thinking. I just looked up my registration email from last year- and we had 4 workshops. So if they are putting the Guest Speakers during General Session, and then the 3 workshops- then it evens out more I would think. I'm not in a financial bind, but do try to watch how I spend it. But I think my family would string me up if I DIDN'T go- simply because THEY want the days to go site-seeing again.Becca_in_MD said:Where does it say that this is a workshop and not just team recognition time? I know Rae needs her recognition timeI'm with others in counting how much workshop time there actually is. First glance at the agenda before they broke it into the tracks had me questioning the value of going, just from a strict learning in a classroom/workshop opportunity standpoint. In a pinch (financial and kid coverage), I could leave Wed. night and skip the Thurs. session. Was last year the last time for Career Club Luncheon?

I'm BEYOND excited! You should have heard my friend and I when we found out! We were screaming at the chance to hear them live! I'm stoked that EVERYONE at NC gets to hear them and I'm SO thankful for everyone to get to hear them! The cost of NC alone is a bargain when you consider getting to hear professionals like this! ANTICIPATE WITH EXCITEMENT AND JOY PEOPLE.. NC will be SUPER!!!!!!!!!!!

Woohoo, me too!! Not sure if it really makes a difference, since it just affects when we have workshops and general session - during which, we hopefully won't be socializing much, anyway. But, looking forward to spending more time with you than 30 seconds for a hug!Oh, and I definitely think you should share a room with Dina, to make sure she stays a respectable distance from my DG!ETA: I looked more closely at the schedule earlier, and realize the meals and sessions are NOT at the same time!! What the heck?! Oh, well, hopefully we really will have free time in the evenings to hang out.pcchefjane said:Yes we did have fun!I am in Track A!

They usually give it out after NC is over on your way out the door from the last general session so you may want to re-think leaving on Wednesday. I was looking and it is rather hard to tell what is happening when. I see no mention of Career Club Lunch, Breakfast of Caring and I noted too that unless you are higher up on the ladder, we have free time every single night. Wow. What a difference. Even by going one more day, there actually seems to be less going on. Hummm. Bummer as lunches are a different times too.
