I did years ago. Haven't thought about it recently. As much as I'm sick of the shapeless mop that is my hair, I just don't have the funds to get a cut that requires maintenance.

Today's conference tip: Registration opens in about a month. Start taking a look at your business and figuring out which areas you want to improve. Plan to take workshops covering those topics.

Another country heard from in the Conference Tip area: If you are lacking motivation in your business, plan to spend time networking. Step outside your comfort zone and talk to other consultants you do not know. I do this by sitting at a table at lunch or breakfast with strangers. Having people around me talking about their businesses always gives me something new to "chew" on. Hearing about successes and even the downs, inpires me. I get home and BANG! I explode with motivation to make my business bigger and better than before.

Well, if I do get to go, I don't have to pay for a hotel, my step sons live in the suburbs of Chicago....

Symara,
Saving the hotel bill is a GREAT savings, plus you'd get to see your s-sons!

BANG is right John!!!

This is one of the best pieces of advice I could offer to attendees as well...

AND - for those of you who have been a few times... don't just hang out with oyur own crowd ~ join in on a conversation in the lobby, make it a goal to sit with total strangers at lunch, go to the evening events with CS consultants, introduce yourself to someone in a class.....

If you are the one on the receiving end .... take notice ... this might just be a HUGE step for the person introducing themselves to you!! Make them feel welcome...

If I had not been in the bar (a place I normally do not go to) I would have not big my Big Texas Haired friend ChefAnn!!! NOW that would have been my loss for sure!!!

Take the time to relax and have fun!!!

Make another goal of wearing those great CS buttons so we can tell who you are... (ask ChefAnn about these)...

See you all there!!!

Wave 2 here. I am new but I decided I was going to go to NC no matter what so I can get off to a great start my first year. I Can't Wait. I got really good deals on both my hotel and flight. Does anyone know how much registration usually runs and when they allow us to start registering? Thanks!

Information about registration opening has been in a recent PCNewsWire, although I can't recall which one specifically. There's also a countdown above. It will open mid-April, and registration is usually $200, although it can go higher if you add a guest, home office tour, etc.
