I really want to go to Mass but my son is just still too crazy. I never hear any of it all I do is talk to him the whole time telling him to be quiet, get off the floor, leave the lady in front of you alone...well you get my point. My heart is there.

HAPPY EASTER!!!!

After watching The Ten Commandments for about the 40th time, I'm ready for a church that is packed to the rafters with the C&E crowd and the MIL's famous ham dinner. So it shall be written, so it shall be done.

He is RISEN indeed!

Had to share an amazing praise from church today. There is a boy named Shawn in my Sunday School Class. He is just four years old. He is a sweet boy most of the time....others he is as wild as a beast!
This morning though, he was simply angelic!
We talked about the First Easter, and watched a cartoon video about the First Easter. Afterwards, we had group discussion. Now I know my children know Jesus, and are aware of His Blessings and Sacrifices, but this morning Shawn spoke the word of God and it was amazing! To hear the story of Adam and Eve, and the Crusifixtion, and the empty tomb from a 4 year old mouth left me with such blessings in my heart today. It was like God himself was speaking a lesson to all the children. One of the other teachers and myself, both let Shawn say whatever God put in his heart, and it was one of the most powerful classes we have had in a long time!

Thank you Jesus!!

I was visiting another church today (that I used to be secretary at) to play my French Horn with them. They had a baby dedication and a baptismal service. They asked if anyone other than the "scheduled" people that had Christ in their heart wanted to be baptized...there were robes available to change into. I turned and saw a 7-8 year old boy drag his dad out of the pews to the hallway. He wanted to be baptized and was. I had tears in my eyes (of course I always get teary at baptismals!). My 5 year old daughter asked our Pastor last month if she could be baptized this summer! :) (We only do summers at our church because it happens in a local lake...) What a great day...
