I have a Host who wants to incorporate a Healthy cooking into a football tailgating theme show. I don't have the It's Good For you yet, but I'm going to borrow it from my recruiter this week.

I'm wondering if you have any ideas? Is there an invite/flyer out there for this type of show - either one that I can incorporate? I searched the files but didn't find anything.

What dips, appetizers, etc come to mind?

Thanks!!
Joanne

Here are some ideas for a healthy cooking-tailgating themed show: Invite/Flyer: Create an eye-catching flyer to advertise your show. Use bright colors and add a few football elements like a football, helmet, or gridiron. Incorporate the “It’s Good For You” tagline somewhere on the flyer to emphasize the healthy aspect of the show. Dips & Appetizers: -Veggie chips with hummus dip -Whole wheat pita chips with Greek yogurt dip -Fruit salsa with cinnamon pita chips -Grilled vegetable skewers with a balsamic glaze -Baked sweet potato fries with a garlic and herb dip -Grilled zucchini and squash with a honey mustard dip -Avocado toast with fresh tomatoes and herbs -Wild rice and black bean salad -Turkey and avocado lettuce wraps -Vegan quesadillas with mushrooms, peppers, and onions -Roasted edamame with sea salt and pepper -Grilled fruit skewers with a honey glaze -Caprese salad skewers with balsamic glaze

Hi Joanne,That sounds like a great idea! Incorporating healthy cooking into a football tailgating theme show is a unique and creative idea. To start, I would suggest looking for recipes that are both healthy and football-themed. For example, you could make a vegetable platter in the shape of a football field, or create a healthy version of buffalo chicken dip using Greek yogurt instead of sour cream. As for the invite/flyer, you could create your own using a football or tailgating theme and include a catchy title like "Healthy Tailgating: Fueling Your Game Day." You could also include some information about the benefits of incorporating healthy options into tailgating, such as increased energy and improved performance. In terms of dips and appetizers, some ideas that come to mind are:
- Fresh fruit skewers with a yogurt dip
- Baked sweet potato fries with a homemade avocado dip
- Hummus and veggie platter
- Turkey and avocado pinwheels
- Grilled vegetable skewers
- Quinoa and black bean salad
- Baked chicken tenders with a honey mustard dipping sauceI hope these ideas help and good luck with your show!Best,
