Everyone here is such a wealth of information, I am hoping you can help me. I had an awesome month last month, and I want to keep up the momentum, however, I do not think I would have had to work so hard if I was able to convince my hosts that the way to a successful show is to have people there !!! I did 11 shows last month, and 5 of them only had 3-4 people attend !!!!!!!!!! I was at our area kick-off meeting, and one of the directors speaking said that she has used the "scavenger hunt" as a way to get her hosts excited about the # of people at her show. It is something about having one of each "type" of person on the list attend her show. redhead, hairdresser, ect. She just mentioned it, did not dwell on it, and I was unable to talk with her after the meeting, so I thought I would be able to find it here, but I have been unable to find it using the search engine. Evidently, it is either not here, or it is called something else. Can you help me, please !!!

Hostess scavenger huntI went to search at the very top and then type this in:
Hostess scavenger hunt
There will be a thread with someone who posted the different types of people your hosts could invite. Hope this helps.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a scavenger hunt in the context of direct sales shows?

A scavenger hunt in direct sales shows is an interactive activity where attendees are given a list of items or tasks to find or complete during the event. This can include locating specific products, answering questions related to the brand, or engaging with different displays. It encourages participation and makes the event more engaging.

How can a scavenger hunt boost attendance at my direct sales shows?

A scavenger hunt can boost attendance by creating excitement and a sense of adventure around the event. It encourages potential attendees to invite friends and family to join in the fun, increasing the overall number of participants. Additionally, the promise of prizes for completing the hunt can incentivize more people to attend.

What types of prizes should I offer for a scavenger hunt?

Prizes for a scavenger hunt can vary widely, but they should be appealing and relevant to your audience. Consider offering Pampered Chef products, discounts on future purchases, gift cards, or even exclusive access to special events. The key is to choose prizes that will motivate attendees to participate actively.

How do I organize a scavenger hunt for my direct sales show?

To organize a scavenger hunt, start by creating a list of items or tasks related to your products and brand. Distribute this list to attendees at the beginning of the show. Set clear rules, such as time limits and how to submit completed tasks. Make sure to have a system in place for tracking progress and awarding prizes at the end of the event.

Can a scavenger hunt be tailored for different audiences?

Yes, a scavenger hunt can be easily tailored for different audiences by adjusting the difficulty level, themes, and types of tasks. For example, if your audience includes families, you might include kid-friendly tasks or items. For a more adult-focused audience, consider incorporating product knowledge challenges or cooking-related tasks that highlight your offerings.
