...that might be helpful for my newest idea- I decided that I'm going to hand out catalogs to the Farmer's Market vendors and come back the next week to collect orders. I really want to have a BIG June to get those new fall products!

Thanks!
Nora

No idea on flyers but what about asking one of the vendors that sell apples to let you set up for the day and demonstrate the apple, peeler corer slicer. The apple wedger too.
Good luck!

My director recommended using the Ultimate Slice and Grate at Farmers Markets - she had a rep set up at one and sold $200 worth of product to the market owner for prepping veggies.

Cool idea- I'll keep it in mind for the fall!

One IdeaMy Executive Director says that at fairs or booths she hands out printed coupons (she does them up on her PC) that say all vendors get a 15% discount off of their order. Be sure to put an expiration date on it though, like 3 days after the event.

I did that in December and am still getting business today becuase of the idea!

If you don't already have something printed on the back of your biz card, you could print on a label and place it on the back of the card. That way they have all your info. plus the coupon handy.

That's a great idea! Thanks for sharing!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a flyer help boost my farmer's market sales in June?

Yes, a well-designed flyer can effectively attract attention and boost your sales at a farmer's market. It can highlight your products, special offers, and unique selling points, making it easier for potential customers to remember you and your offerings.

What information should I include on my flyer?

Your flyer should include your business name, logo, product offerings, pricing, any special promotions, and contact information. Additionally, consider adding a brief description of your products and what makes them unique.

How can I distribute my flyers effectively at the farmer's market?

Distributing flyers can be done in several ways: hand them out to customers as they approach your booth, place them on tables or community boards, or include them in shopping bags for customers who make a purchase. Engaging with customers while handing out flyers can also increase interest.

Should I use color or black and white for my flyers?

Using color in your flyers is generally more eye-catching and can help convey the vibrancy of your products. However, if you're on a tight budget, black and white flyers can still be effective if they are well-designed and clearly communicate your message.

How often should I update my flyers for the farmer's market?

It's a good idea to update your flyers regularly, especially if you have seasonal products or changing promotions. For June, consider highlighting summer-specific items or any new offerings to keep your marketing fresh and relevant.
