I did my 3-2-1 today!!!
Collected a $120 order towards what I'm hoping will be my $1000 mystery host show.
Followed up with my host for tomorrows show (20 yes's now!!!)
Talked to a neighbor I rarely see and she wants to do a show! Haven't set a date yet but it's in the works!
Talked to a couple of others today with no success though!
At least I'm making those calls! Still only have two booked for August though!

Last day went good.... I got a total of 30 contacts all weekend long!!! and one show booked so I am really excited with a lot of perspective's in my sights!!

I am sending a few email's out right now ..... I have done much today then answer my phone from friends wanting to talk about a Funeral that I have to attend on Thursday! I have gotten out of most funerals and this one well ... I just can not bring myself to try and wessale myself out of it!

hehe your too funny!!! This fair wore me out though I am so beat!!! and to think I have a week long one coming up in two weeks!!!
 
Finished my 3 contacts for the day, but I think I'll call a few more people. It's raining and cloudy, so people are home. One was a maybe for August, one a probably for September, and one has a consultant already. The one with a consultant said she'd pass my name around, though. Okay!
 
Jae - for the Dave Ramsey lady - That is when you bring up making some extra income to working on the savings and investing

I haven't gotten back to her, yet. I've asked her many times in my PC career to come to shows and to have shows. She is a major procrastinator and I don't want to bother her too often. I'll talk to her later about other things and bring up having a show and selling PC. I'll keep you posted. Can't wait until my recruiting meeting tomorrow!
 
Made my contacts today, and got 2 September shows scheduled!

Yes, Dave Ramsey recommends taking PT jobs to build the emergency fund and pay down the debt quickly, so PC would be perfect for anyone following his plan!

I've made more than 3 contacts today. Was doing OOTB calls and talked to some wonderful folks. Got one recruit lead and two booking leads.

I've been on the phone so much today that my cordless is now out of juice. :)

Lyn Conway has a chart on her website www.getafreshperspective.com under "free stuff." It's a 21 day prospecting success challenge chart. She recommends 5 contacts a day. You can print her chart and use it to help you with your new success habit!

I always think in my head that I should make five contacts a day. BUT, when I finally get my three it seems I've had it with answering machines/voice mail or kids answering and saying "she isn't available right now." I'm going to try for five at least once a week and when that becomes a habit I'll add a day. Maybe, I can then just do the five every day. Once I get more shows on my calendar, it will be easier becaue I can "contact" while I'm at the show. And, I'll have more customers to call. I'm still doing "out of the blue" calls, daily.
 
I had not such a great day... I did date an August show while at work though (and by the time we left work she had started on her wish list, booked a show from her show from another coworker who just started last week, and came up with a good 20 names for her invited!). I called my cousin who wanted a beg. August show and I haven't been able to get a hold of her still (she NEEDS to move into the 21st century with either voicemail or email!!!) and I called a host to close out her show and got a vm earlier. I have been really run down, so I think I am off to bed and will try to get up a bit early to take care of everything that I need to do and make some calls when I get home tomorrow... night all!
 
I did good today. I finally think I have Pampered Partner set up so that I can feel confident keeping notes about calls in it. I called two August hosts and they were both excited about there shows. (Finally! My last two in July were duds and ended up canceling.) Then I was pumped and made my three contacts. No shows booked but one is going to refer me to her coworker who loves(!) PC.
 
Okay so I emailed three people today- I booked another show in August That's 3 and guess what their all in the same week!!!! Tomorrow I will be calling two of the three plus everyone else in my list that I need to call!!!! I want this so bad I can taste it... anyone else have that same go to it attitude???
 
I just got back from my show where there were over 20 people. Can you believe it....the sales are only $267!!! The last show she did for me was over $800! She is very determined to get the sales up before closing though. The good news is that from that show, I booked (in my book) a September show, an October show, a "possible" September wedding shower, and a recruit lead! I was hoping for something in August ( I only have 2 so far!) but I'll sure take what I got! I'm counting this show as my 3-2-1 for today!

Did everyone place an order??? that is frustrating...... but very good on bookings and the recruit lead!!!!

Only about 6 people placed orders! Hopefully she'll get some more!

UGH!!!!! Talk about frustrating........ were they at least paying attention to the demo??? Or were they busy gabbing?

They were really gabby at first but listened for the most part. It kinda went back and forth a bit. It could have been worse with that many people.

well... I've been doing calls but not as many as I should. Gotta get better about that. I did give out 2 catalogs yesterday and got contact info for 1 (nurse at Dr. office while doing DD's check up) The other was a lady at walmart. I ran into har and her DD 3 times and they seemed really nice. She said "ohhhh I love Pampered Chef" I pointed out my info if she needed anything. She was verry gracious. I told her I had given myself a goal of giving away 3 catalogs that day and she was verry excited and said "good for you" Made me feel good!

Oh also left a stack of catalogs in the waiting room of Dr's office.


Rae..... what are you saying durring your calls? Seems like you are having LOTS of success?
 
I dialed about 6-7 numbers yesterday; got 1 live person who was not interested at all. The rest were all answering machines. I get so frustrated when all I get are answering machines, and then I give up.

I tried reaching my hostess for this Sunday's show. I have yet to reach her to do any host coaching. Sounds like there is not going to be a show. This would have been show #2 for July. UUGGHH!!!!
 
Bump! Anyone else make calls today?
 
I haven't made any calls yet.... But then again I am stil at work..... I will do it for sure tonight......I am working on another person for a show at the place where I get my smoothies at in the mornings...but she wants to book a september show..... I want to fill my calender packed in Aug and Sept!!! Is this possible??
 
Can I join you all? I need to have some accountability and if I am reporting what I am doing then I am sure I will make more happen.
