Brenda, i feel your pain on the bare calendar! Proof positive to me that the 3-2-1- in absolutely positively necessary for me to maintain my business at the level I want. Luckily I do have some productive catalog shows going on right now. I only know that because of their online activities.;)

Sarah, right now for this TPC year I have 13 signed recruits (14 career):sing: I am working really hard to get TPC in recruiting. But i have quite a bit of work to do, as 2 will not count (1 is a kitnapper, the other went inactive before qualifying). So right now I have 7 qualified. Of the remaining, 1 has the shows complete for qualification (just need to close), 1 has 2 complete, and the other 2 just signed yesterday & today.
I NEED 4 MORE:o

Amy, tell us a little more about the recruiting e-mails! Are they just e-mails to follow up on a list of potential recruits? Care to share some of the content?

I just sent the ones from our PWS to myself and then forward it to my leads. I think it makes it more personal to come from my personal email. I've also sent ones about the new consultant promotions.
My recruit yesterday was a result of following up with the email, she contacted me after receiving it. But the key is following up with the calls too. Another one of my leads from my last batch (past host) was at today's show where the host signed, and she told me she is still very interested but due to some family conflicts coming up it's "not her time". But to stay in touch, she's thinking June.
I wish I could say it was something fantastic, but it's really not. I just try to keep PC on their mind.

I had ZERO contacts today. I am/was supposed to have a show tomorrow after church, but the host never called me back even after I left an "if I don't hear from you I will assume you have turned your show into a catalog show or have postponed." I don't even have directions to her house AND she lives an hour away.

If the show doesn't happen, I will make a ton of calls tomorrow instead.

took care of some product adjustment issues today. Attempted some host coaching and team calls. Seems one of my inactives has a show ready to submit, so yay!
I'm really going to try to crank up my biz this month. I want to recruit 2 more this month and fill my calendar like crazy again! I'll be working the phone like crazy tomorrow!

Been busy. Made my contacts most days, but took a mini break on Friday. Made up for it with 12 contacts on Saturday at a show that garnered bookings by 8 people. (Okay, it is actually 3 bookings with co-hosts, 1 single booking, and 1 maybe, but 8 people looks much more impressive. :))Here's the fun part. The single booking was from someone who the hosts hadn't even met. One of the guests brought her 13-year-old granddaughter. The granddaughter brought a friend. Just before the show started, the friend called her mom to check in. She mentioned that she was at a PC party, and her mom said she wanted to book a show. I'll be sending her the upcoming specials in Monday's mail so she can pick a date.Have I mentioned lately that I love my job?

Just made one real contact today. A friend of mine is going to get back to me by tomorrow to let me know whether or not she will do an April show.

I had recently sent out some catalogs in a bulk mailing - I got 2 emails for orders and one past host called and booked an April catalog show - gotta love it! My April has 3 cooking/2 catalog shows and at my show on Friday night - I already got a booking for July 11th! I love people who aren't afraid to commit to a date:)

Picked up the phone this evening and only reached 2 people, with no great results to report.

I did receive a call from a MIA February catty host, and we are very close to closing out her ($200) show. I also got an e-mail from a MIA March (14th) host. She wants to change her cooking show to a catty show. UGH!

I am going to try making some calls during the day tomorrow to see if that makes a difference in reaching folks on the other line or not.

got'em in,
clerk at PO - don't call me, I'll call you
possible FR for local organization
1 June show booked

host coaching via email - the only way these 2 will communicate with me. Drives me crazy sometimes!:yuck:

I had a show tonight and about 10 people were there. I only had a chance to ask a couple people if they would be interested in having a show. I just needed to get out of there because it was a long distance drive on a school night, and I had the kids with me. No more of that! Only Friday's and Saturdays if I have to go farther than an hour. Ugh! Left the show with about $365 in sales. Hoping it gets to $500 to make it worth my time and drive.

I haven't gotten in any contacts in the past week or so due to all the "drama" going on with me. I did have a nice surprise tonight though. A past host called to place an order, but when she heard the total (she wanted a lot) she decided to go ahead with a catalog show. Yipee!! This is a motivated host as well, so hopefully it will end up being a good show.

Had a show last night with 12 people in attendance. Sales were low - sometimes the crowd is just like that. $350 right now. BUT, I did get an April Booking (someone who I knew was going to book a catalog show, but decided to turn it into a Cooking Show ~ yahoo!), and also a booking for June. I now have 3 June bookings, so that is exciting!

Also have a great recruit lead - and I am excited about her! She was so much fun as a guest, and I used a Jillian line, and told her that I would love to have her on my team! We are talking by phone today to schedule a time to meet.

I had a new recruit with me observing my show - she is signing on the 16th, but is already getting started. She has her shows lined up, and we are meeting tomorrow morning to go through her Quick Start Box.....it was fun doing some training with her at the show too.

Had three contacts yesterday, including one request for a catalog.

I still have contacts to make today. Here are mine so far:

1 inactive recruit told me she has NO intention of becoming active again.

My host for this Thursday just EMAILED to tell me she had to post pone. No date for a new show set yet.

I did however get a booking for April 10th. (Finally~ some good news!)

my contacts for yesterday didn't result in any bookings/recruits. Only a request to see a catalog, hoping to get a show out of that one. Still working on my kids' bus driver to do a show too. I need bookings bad! Falling off the calling wagon has taken a HUGE toll on my business. Lesson learned.
I also did my team meeting last night, so that took calling time. Had to get the contacts in during the day. Proved to myself that it is possible.

The few calls made last night resulted in answering machines, so no contacts. I did get an e-mail from a MIA host wanting to reschedule her show, and a phone call from another postponing hers from March 29th to April 5th (again!). So, now I have ZERO cooking shows for March!!!!

Had 7 contacts last night, resulting in an order.Had 3 contacts tonight resulting in an order.

team calls/coaching
did send an email to a few of my contacts about the outlet resulting in an online order
also some orders from a past host for 2 shows booked from hers that I am trying to close

I feel you pain Bren! I too have ZERO for March due to the only 2 I had cancelling. I do have a fundraiser that's around $200 but I am donating my commission to that.

It's gonna stink not getting a paycheck for a month! UGH!

Guess there's still time? I better try to focus on April and get this dreaded month out of my mind.

attempted calls, mostly machines. had an inactive team member come over tonight to submit a show!! YAYYYY!

Had one contact last night via phone, and made 1 contact today.

Today's call was to thank a customer from a December show that submitted another order thru my website two weeks ago. I told her I was sending her a SB book. I will be adding her to my newsletter list, and will follow up in May about a possible late spring/early summer show. (She has a 2 1/2 month old baby right now, so she wants to wait a few months.)

Another person that I reached tonight was just getting out of the show and said it was okay to call back tomorrow evening.

I spoke with a past host that is considering co-hosting a show with her neighbor. I gave her the flyers for April, May and June.

I am going to attempt to make some more calls tonight (although with DH gone to a meeting I am not sure how successful that will be.)

I had only one contact yesterday. I spend the vast majority of the day helping my friend get a wig. She has ovarian cancer and just started chemo.

Made my calls. I have 7 contacts for the day, with 1 order and 1 probable order. Here's the fun part. I was doing my CCCs, when I realized I had a voice mail. I checked, and it was the mother of one of the women I had just called. She was another guest at the same party, but I hadn't gotten to her name on my list yet. She was calling because she was at her daughter's house when I'd called the daughter. Mom had bought the Chillzanne Rectangular Server for a friend. She fell in love with it and wanted to order one for herself. She'll put the check in tomorrow's mail. :)BTW, the way she gave the gift was cute. She and her friend go to the same church. They were having a dinner, so she took deviled eggs in the Chillzanne Server. Her friend oohed and ahhed over the server and asked where she'd gotten it. She said, "It's Pampered Chef, and it's for you."In addition to being a cute way to give a gift, it's a good way to avoid taking home a dirty dish. Smart woman. :)

no phone contacts yesterday, but plenty by email. several booking leads to follow up on from an email I sent out about the outlet.
Also a catalog host told me yesterday (via email) that she is ready to sign! woo hoooo! We'll be doing her agreement on sunday (fingers crossed)
oh, and I did get some orders from those emails so that is really good as my sales are horrible this month!:yuck:

Good Morning Amy!

Whooo Hoooo!!! you are going to get there for TPC!

Hey - I actually have someone signing this week! She has her quick start box, and she has been to a show and a cluster meeting with me - we are just waiting til it's a bit closer to when her shows are scheduled, so she can qualify in her 30 days (her first show is April 5th)....and I have another girl who was a guest at a show last week who is meeting with me this week about signing!

For myself - yesterday I closed 2 shows......7 bookings between the 2 shows!
April is looking great - 7 shows and 1 Catalog show right now, and I have 2 bookings for May, 3 for June, and 1 for July......if I could just get the recruiting part down.....

I got ALL answering machines yesterday. I am feeling pretty discouraged right now. I DO have 3 shows for April booked all before the 14th so that is good but I need to get about 5 more on my calendar and I have NO more shows this month.

Ellen, I am feeling the very same way! It seems all I have gotten lately are answering machines! I only have 3 shows in the entire month of April right now (and March is bare!). But, I think I am giving up too soon on those phone calls. (half of it is due to distractions).

Today, I reached two people, one is not interested at all. She had placed an outside order in December and will be attending another show in a couple of weeks. The second person was also from an outside order with the same show. She is out of state. This was her first time ordering from the Pampered Chef. I am sending her the new catty, with the specials, and will follow up with her about doing a catty show. I also got her e-mail for my newsletter list.

some email communications including online orders and product adjustments. Need to get my rear in gear and get some shows booked quickly! thankfully i have some catty's going, but you never know if they are going to pan out! I've lost my umpff lately. Need to get the show schedule back up so that i can hopefully get the last few recruits I need for TPC
