I have been invited to participate in an online auction..I am donating the Easy Pies and Tarts Gift set, but I was wondering if it is acceptable to forward the PC Logo so when prospective buyers are viewing the items for the auction the chef hat will be easier to distinguish the company? I think otherwise they will just use clipart to show the PC name...

Someone else may know more - but I am pretty sure selling at all online is against PC policy - seems like an on-line auction would be like Ebay?

I don't think so...IS IT??? I never even thought about it!! it's tax deductible...and alot of other consultants of DS companies have their own stuff on...gift baskets and such...It's not used or anything...crap... I hope this is ok! I'm going to call HO I think on this one. I haven't given it to them yet, and I"m not listed until I give them the products...

And, it's for a non profit organization also...anyone? anyone?

For FRs you are able to do some limited "advertising" online, if it's on the website of the organization holding the FR. But you do need to get permission from the HO and it can only be up for a limited amount of time. So, it may actually be ok to sell it on there, but I don't know about using the logo. This would be something to call the HO about for sure.:)

Ok, I'm calling HO about it...I am DONATING the item to the non profit organization as a fundraiser...not "selling" it... and I thought I prob couldn't use the logo, but just wanted to check. And I'm not putting my website on it either....

I'll let you all know what I find out!

Answer I got form HOI asked a little bit ago and I received this response ~ how this is what you're asking for ~

Hi Ginny,
One exception to advertising on the Internet is linking your Personal Website to a Fundraisers Organizations Web site. In order to link to your Personal Web site, we ask that you complete the Link Request Form that is on Consultant's Corner. The request form can be found on Consultant’s Corner. Under the “Promoting Your Business” tab, click on “Personal Web site Assistant”. Click “Work with Your Shows” and select “fundraiser” under the “Setup a New Show” menu. Click “Go” and complete the form. Be advised that the link can be active for a maximum of 60 days from the date the link was posted.
