I have a host who wants to do margaritas... i figure i could do it in the quick stir pitcher, but have no good recipes... let me know, I'm desperate!

This may be cheating, but it's so yummy!

I use this Raspberry lemonade recipe in the family-size quick-stir

1 2-liter bottle of 7-up
1 can frozen lemonade concentrate
1 pkg frozen raspberries (any frozen berries will work)

Then, I chill a bottle of the TGIFriday's (or similar) margarita mix with the alcohol already in it.

I let the guests mix their own drinks.

Be careful though, you can get really sloshed & not know it depending on what the ratio is for marg mix/rasp lemonade.

Here's an awesome one:

1 can of frozen limeade concentrate
1 can of tequila (use empty limeade can)
1 can Sprite (or any lemon lime soda)
1 bottle of Corona

Mix & Enjoy!

I know it sounds weird but it is REALLY great!

here's three for ya:
Beer Margarita

I know there are a couple of different beer margaritas floating around, but this is the one my husband and I enjoy:

2 cans 7-Up
2 bottles Corona beer (must be Corona)
2 cans frozen Bacardi frozen margarita mix (others have used lime-ade mix)
2-3 cups tequila (this is to taste - we use 2 1/2 cups)Plunge, serve over ice

Margarita Punch
2 (12 oz) cans frozen lemonade (undiluted, THAWED)
1 (12 oz) can frozen limeade (undiluted, THAWED)
1 (12 oz) can frozen orange juice (undiluted, THAWED)
8 cups water
1 (3 litre) Sprite/7-Up
2 cups Tequila

Mix together, serve over ice.

Makes 1 1/2 gallons.

Margarita Slush-

2 cans Bacardi frozen margarita mix

2 cans water

Tequila

Mix 1 can Bacardi frozen margarita mix and 1 can water and freeze in the
three ice shaver tubs. Mix the second can of concentrate and 1 can water
in your Quick Stir Pitcher. Add 1/2 can tequila (optional) and stir.

Hahah. Anyways... what would anyone do with THAT MUCH MARGARITA PUNCH! I dont even know if there is a punch bown big enough to HOLD all that Margarita!

Thought someone might get a chuckle out of that.... :D :o

When I do margaritas i use the bacardi frozen mix and add tequila and ice and do it in the blender (yummy), but I bet you can do the same thing, but just fill up the pitcher with water and ice.

I go with the easy one - Tequila and Margarita Mix! :)

Um, I could probably figure out what to do with all of that Margarita...!

I use the limeade, Corona, tequila, 7-Up recipe listed before, but also add the juice of one lime using the Citrus Press. I have become quite well-known for demonstrating these margaritas at my shows, and have sold quite a few Citrus Presses to boot! Enjoy.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the basic ingredients for a classic margarita?

A classic margarita typically includes tequila, lime juice, and orange liqueur (such as Cointreau or Triple Sec). You can also add simple syrup for sweetness if desired.

Can I make a margarita without alcohol?

Yes! You can create a non-alcoholic margarita by mixing lime juice, orange juice, and a splash of soda water or tonic water. You can also use non-alcoholic margarita mixes available in stores.

What type of tequila is best for margaritas?

For margaritas, it's best to use a good quality blanco or reposado tequila. Blanco is unaged and has a strong agave flavor, while reposado is aged in oak barrels and offers a smoother taste.

To make a frozen margarita, blend together ice, tequila, lime juice, and orange liqueur until smooth. You can adjust the amount of ice based on your desired thickness. Serve in a salt-rimmed glass for an extra touch!

What are some popular variations of margaritas?

Popular variations include fruit margaritas, such as strawberry, mango, or watermelon, where fresh or frozen fruit is blended into the mix. You can also try spicy margaritas by adding jalapeños or using flavored tequilas.
