I haven't tried this yet, but my coworker tried it and she said it was good:
Easy Enchiladas (ready in 15 minutes)
1 lb (about 3) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can Rotel tomatoes with green chilies
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (13-15 oz) enchilada sauce
6-10 flour or corn...
OK I think I like freezing the leftover cake rather than throwing it out. It's so heartbreaking to see yummy chocolate cake in the trash....
And I did press down on the cake layer a bit, but maybe next time I'll smoosh it more... Thanks for all the tips! =)
Yeah, what I actually stuffed in there was quite a lot. I took it to a party where everyone ate it, everyone took some home, and there was still some that I had to bring back. I guess I was just frustrated that I had to keep the extra cake that didn't fit at home. I don't need any extra...
Hi all... I just received and used my trifle bowl for the first time and I made the easy chocolate trifle from the trifle doc here. The recipe calls for a 13x9 cake, 2 pkgs of pudding, 8 oz of cool whip (which is too little, it really needs 12 oz) and the heath bars... I had a hard time...
anything that nests. maybe like the collander and bowl set. you get collanders, bowls, and lids that fit in one space... or the stainless steel mixing bowls which i love.
I don't know if this has been posted, but if you go to the Good Housekeeping website, there is a video of the best food choppers and they rated Pampered Chef as the best. :) It's a really short clip, but still kind of cool.
Just adding my 2 cents, but if it's 7.5 cups too much food to cook in the DCB, isn't it still 7.5 cups too much when it's time to transport it? Do you have 2 DCBs to transport it or are you going to bring the DCB and something else for the food that won't fit.... Just wondering....
That inexpensive prime rib sounds good, but when I read the recipe it says to preheat oven to 500 and then turn heat down to 475. Is the DCB okay like this? I double checked the use and care and it says stoneware is heat-resistant to 450 degress.... I'm debating if I should chance it.
Last August they had a host special with $550 or more you could choose 60% off 2 pieces of cookware, including sets. They could have chosen both the 5 piece and 7 piece set at 60% off for their 2 pieces if they wanted.
The recipes are listed in the bottom left of the picture. It says "Peanutty Chocolate Truffles and Lemon Drop Cookies from The Pampered Chef Simply Sweet" and "Kiwi Lime Dessert Cups" from Season's Best. HTH! I guess it depends on which tier she was looking at.
The April Guest special is for the cranberry microfiber towels if they order $60 or more. The April HOST special includes the trifle bowl as one of the 60% off items.
I always stick my hands on the sides of the pot just below the lip (while the DCB is perpendicular to my body) using either silicone oven mitts or regular oven pads. The lip keeps it from slipping out of my hands and I don't worry about losing my grip like I would if I carried it by that little...
