I have done them several times. I do it for the booking/recruit leads, but I occasionally get orders there as well. One thing I've been doing is to offer as one of my "products" a free cooking show, where I will bring the paper products and recipe ingredients for one recipe of my choosing...
Ditto what Keith said. I never do booths intending to get sales...if I get them, its a nice perk but my real goal is booking and recruit leads. And like Keith pointed out, one booking will recoup your losses, so two or more puts you ahead. Good luck with your decision!

Technically, (according to FB) no. FB only allows you to have one profile per their terms of use. However, there are lots of people who have more than one and haven't had any problems. Just be aware that FB can technically close one (or both) of your profiles at their discretion for violating...
SMS = Short Messaging Service...aka text message. :) And no, you're not an idiot...really. I used to be a trainer at a call center and about 85% of the adults there over 25 didn't know what SMS stood for. So you're not alone. ;)
If you check the verbiage in the consultant policy guide under social networking, it does mention both profiles (personal) and pages (business). The mention of groups is in another paragraph. There is nothing that I have come across that has mentioned that it is not allowed to have a business...
