I have a question -- do you guys pay for the postage your self or do you ask your host for that? I've been nervous about offering to send the invites because of the cost -- but now I am considering trying it to bump up my sales. I was worried about asking for the postage -- if it would be weird?

With regards to the Outlet, everyone calls me with the orders (I always give them the option to do it online --- but no-one does); so if people want outlet I'll just put in one outlet order at the same time as the show. It usually works out between cash/credit card --- I just juggle things...

OKay here is the revised version --- As for the prizes for "your a winner" I hadn't decided yet ... maybe a free Season's Best, maybe a coupon for a free cooking show, something small either way. Depends on the number of bookings I need by the time I send these out :)

So, I was thinking this year, I'd send a letter with the mini-catalogs (which is mostly a blend of numerous things I've seen on here) instead of the flyer. See if that generates a bigger response.... I plan on sending it out to past hosts/preferred customers for the start of the Spring...

Rae, How does your look when you print it? I am having trouble visualizing the end product... Is it like a 3-tiered 1 page pamphelet? Or multiple pages? TIA,

I do one recipe, and IF they really, really want a dessert, I'll do the easy caramel rolls -- because they are so quick and easy. I just explain that people don't want to be there forever... the quicker the demo, the happier people are.... or so I've found.

There was a script on the bottom of the 1-2-3 action plan. I think I'll draft up an email, just to get things rolling. Will get me in touch with more people! Now if only someone would share their email??? Anyone have one they sent out--- I'm not overly creative--
