OK, this will sound odd...but my host for Wednesday wants me to demo the QSP, and she wants me to look for a recipe that we could add vodka to. I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to mixed drinks, but this has the potential to be a pretty important show for me (getting my foot in the door with a whole new crowd to network with), so I want to bend over backwards to do this as well as possible. Any suggestions??? I would love to hear your ideas. I'm going to do a search on the web, too, but I thought all of the wonderful cheffers on here might be able to give some great ideas, too. :chef: Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

I was just going to post the same thing....IT IS WONDERFUL!!!

my favorite recipe for the QSP is Margaritas (not vodka but still yummy) They are a hit at all my shows...and quick and simple...
the recipe sounds odd but trust me they are good...and i sell tons of QSP cuz everyone wants to make these in it...
Recipe
12 oz Minute Maid Frozen Limeade
12 oz 7-UP
12 oz Corona
12 oz Tequlia

Do lemonade and add the vodka. You can demo more products that way too--forged cutlery, citrus press, a measuring tool for the sugar..... YUM!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is QSP and how does it enhance mixed drinks?

QSP, or Quick Sip Powder, is a flavored drink mix that can add a burst of flavor to your cocktails. When combined with vodka, it enhances the overall taste and can create a refreshing and enjoyable drink experience. The variety of flavors available allows for creative combinations that can suit any palate.

What is the best mixed drink recipe using QSP and vodka?

A popular recipe is the QSP Vodka Spritzer. To make it, mix 1.5 oz of vodka with 1 packet of your favorite QSP flavor in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a glass filled with ice. Top it off with soda water and garnish with a slice of lemon or lime for an extra zing.

Can I use any flavor of QSP with vodka?

Yes, you can use any flavor of QSP with vodka! Popular choices include citrus flavors like lemon or lime, berry flavors like strawberry or raspberry, and tropical flavors like pineapple or mango. Experimenting with different combinations can lead to unique and delicious drinks.

How can I adjust the sweetness of my QSP vodka drink?

If you find your drink too sweet, you can dilute it with more soda water or add a splash of fresh citrus juice to balance the sweetness. Alternatively, you can use less QSP powder or choose a flavor that is less sweet to begin with.

Are there any non-alcoholic options using QSP?

Absolutely! You can create a refreshing non-alcoholic drink by mixing QSP with soda water or tonic water. Simply follow the same steps as the vodka recipe, omitting the alcohol, for a delicious mocktail that everyone can enjoy.
